Something has shifted recently...
At the weekend I birthed my shamanic drum, something I've wanted to do for a very long time. Bit of a story time and vulnerable share here. Grab a cuppa. ๐Ÿต I was gifted this by my ex partner as a Christmas present. We'd ended our relationship just before Christmas, but because it ended so amicably and with so much love, we still exchanged the presents we'd bought for each other. I was absolutely over the moon with this gift. After our split, I went to Morocco to figure out what was next. It became really clear that even though I'm not from the Cotswolds, I've built a beautiful community here and I'm the only Kundalini Yoga teacher in the area. Even if I headed back to Manchester, where I'm from, I'd be starting from scratch again. So I'm currently housesitting in the Cotswolds and have completely landed on my feet. I'm staying in a beautiful house with two amazing dogs while the owner travels a lot for work. It's working out brilliantly for both of us. Over the last few months, Si and I had a couple of disagreements and nothing was really getting resolved. I knew I needed to wait until that had cleared before making the drum because I didn't want any unresolved energy going into the process. Luckily, we saw each other at a festival recently and were able to clear the air, resolve our differences and enjoy the weekend together. It's funny really, because we met at a festival, so it felt like a beautiful full circle moment to find that resolution at a festival too, out in nature. There's a bit of a backstory here that feels important to the whole process because what I thought would be a creative workshop became something much deeper. Of course!!! The whole process felt symbolic of a new chapter - letting go of what no longer fits, trusting the process. Creating something with intention and bringing something new into the world. When we first journeyed and connected with the deer hide, the word "Guide" came through. Later, Tracey, who was leading the workshop, explained how drum making is connected to death and rebirth. As she spoke, I felt this overwhelming surge of emotion.

โœจ A little challenge before tomorrow's class...
Before you reach for your phone in the morning... Before the emails. Before the to-do list. Before everyone else needs something from you... Give yourself 30 minutes at 7:30am UK time. Notice how the rest of your day feels. We'll be focusing on: โœจ Creating more space through the body โœจ Awakening the core and lower spine โœจ Encouraging healthy digestion and the body's natural cleansing processes โœจ Building energy, vitality and resilience โœจ Starting the week feeling lighter, stronger and more connected As always, this is your practice, if something feels too much, pause, rest or simply visualise the movement. Listening to your body is just as important as the movement itself. Who's giving themselves those 30 minutes tomorrow? ๐Ÿ’›

A gift for you!! Solstice Blessings to everyone โœจ
A huge thank you to everyone who showed up and practiced with me this morning. โ˜€๏ธ There was something really special about working with Surya Kriya, bringing in that beautiful sun energy of vitality, confidence, clarity and joy. As a little gift to everyone in this community, here's a longer recording so you can come back to it whenever you need a boost. Surya means "sun", and this kriya helps activate the solar energy within us. It's a wonderful practice for those moments when you're feeling flat, stuck, low on energy or simply disconnected from yourself. It's uplifting, energising and grounding all at the same time, helping you reconnect with your inner fire, strengthen your confidence and move through your day with a little more sparkle. Pop it on whenever you need a reset, a shift in energy, or a reminder of the light that's already within you. Short. Simple. Bloody good. โ˜€๏ธโœจ As we step forward into the next 6 months - take time for a little reflection: 1. What am I ready to release that no longer serves me? 2. Where in my life am I being called to shine more brightly? 3. How can I honour my energy, rather than constantly giving it away? 4. What does stepping into my fullest expression look and feel like? 5. What would love have me know right now? Ooooh I love that last question - when I journaled on this, it's all about nurturing myself, putting my energy into my business, this community here and in person. To stop looking for proof that I'm enough and really notice where life is already asking me to step forward. I'm letting it all in and to be seen fully so I can support others through this magical practice. Looking forward to reading your shares below. Kaye x

Emotional Releases
Today during the Kundalini kryias - I am releasing tears. I feel awe and relief and the sense that I am able to nuture my beingness. With the breathe I am noticing that I am beginning to re-balance the masculine and feminine energies within me. For me I have experienced so much aggression and rejection with masculinity in the world- that I have been uncomfortable/afraid to connect with masculine. Through my own personal healing work over the past 4/5 years I am realising that there is divine masculine and divine feminine energy that I have never been able to express or connect with. Also I have chosen many times to not speak up or at - for fear of attack, comparisons. Since I was introduced to Kundalin Yoga on retreat in 2024 with Kaye- I am so thankful.

Thank you @Esther Dry for your heartfelt and vulnerable share. What you've described is so beautiful. As we heal, we often begin to discover that the masculine isn't just what we've experienced in the world. At its healthiest, it can feel supportive, grounding and safe. The tears, relief and awe are all welcome. It sounds like something is gently coming back into balance within you. Thank you for trusting me, the practice and yourself. I'm so grateful Kundalini found you too. โœจ๐Ÿ™
