Monday Inspiration 03/30 - Why Everyone Quits (And Why You Shouldn’t) 👀
Quitting means to stop, leave, or give up on something, and the truth is, it shows up way more in our lives than we like to admit. Every time you start something new, whether it’s a job, a skill, a game, or a new routine, it feels uncomfortable, confusing, and frustrating at the beginning, and that’s exactly the phase where most people decide it’s “not for them.” But if you stay in it long enough, something starts to shift. You begin to understand it, you get better, and what once felt difficult slowly becomes natural. Then one day you look back and think, “This is actually easy,” and the only reason it became easy is that you didn’t quit when it was hard. Most people don’t fail because they’re incapable, they fail because they leave too early. They quit right when things are supposed to feel difficult, and they never give themselves a chance to reach the part where it clicks. The difference between good and great is rarely talent, it’s how long you’re willing to stay when things feel uncomfortable. Good stops when it’s hard, great stays until it becomes natural, and that extra time under pressure is what creates confidence, skill, and results. So if something in your life feels hard right now, don’t rush to label it as “not for you.” Ask yourself instead, am I just in the phase where most people quit? 🎥 I recorded a short video breaking this down. Take a few minutes to watch it. Reflection time: > What’s your real takeaway on “quitting”? > When was the last time you quit something? What was it… and what did it teach you? > Where are you currently performing at a “good” level… but you know you’re close to breaking into “great”? Let's have a phenomenal week 🙏🏽 💪🏽

🎥 Communication & Difficult Conversations Series 2/10
Video 1 of 10 — Internal Dialogue Video 2 of 10 — Pressure, Emotional Control & Presence Let’s talk about something we all deal with. Pressure (especially on today's world). Pressure is when something feels important… and you don’t want to get it wrong. And in those moments, communication changes. You might recognize this: • You start thinking too fast • You get nervous • You rush what you say • You get defensive • You either stay quiet or react too quickly By the time you respond, you’re not really choosing how to communicate anymore. You’re reacting. That’s the real problem. Pressure doesn’t create new behavior… it reveals what you haven’t practiced. In this video, we break that down. We talk about why pressure affects the way we communicate, the common reactions people fall into, and how to stay calm, clear, and in control when it matters most. Because strong communication is not about being perfect. It’s about being in control of yourself when things get uncomfortable. If you apply this, you’ll start to: • stay calmer in difficult conversations • think more clearly under pressure • respond instead of react • build more trust in the way you communicate 💬 Reflection when going into the next conversation, meeting, presentation... ﹥ What outcome actually matters here? ﹥ What am I feeling right now? ﹥ How do I want this person to feel after I speak? Think about a situation this week where you usually react. ﹥ What will you do differently based on what you learned here? Share your thoughts in the comments and let’s grow together.

🔥 Monday Inspiration 03/23 🔥 Who are you in these situations?
WHO'S READY FOR THE WEEK? 😎 Had a coaching call this past Saturday with @Celeste Ruiz and asked a simple question: “What’s one win from last week?” She told me about a moment where everything could’ve gone wrong. Checkout page stopped working, team stressed, CEO STRESSED (not fun lol), pressure to the roof. And in moments like that… most people react. But she didn’t. She said something that really stood out to me: “I just stayed calm and focused on fixing it.” That’s it. No perfect plan, no overthinking, no panic. Just calm under pressure and solution-focused. That’s LEADERSHIP! And what makes it even better… this isn’t even “her role.” She’s in marketing but has stepped into website development, problem-solving, supporting the team, and doing whatever's needed. That’s ownership. That’s leadership. And it connects directly to what we’ve been talking about in the Communication series. How you show up internally always shows up in how you communicate externally. On my end, I’m in a different type of situation right now. I need to have a real conversation with someone on the team. Lateness, inconsistency, performance not where it needs to be. And if I’m being honest… those are not the easiest conversations to have. But they matter. Because avoiding it doesn’t help them, and it definitely doesn’t help the team. What I keep reminding myself is this: connection before correction. There’s been a connection; now it’s time to correct. We’ve got standards to follow. At the same time, we just brought in a new operations manager, and you can feel the difference right away. Super energetic, wants to do better not just for himself but for everyone. And I’m bringing someone new into my department this week, too. Which is exciting, because every person you bring in and every standard you reinforce starts shaping the culture. Real leadership isn’t when everything is smooth. It’s when things break, when people fall short, when conversations get uncomfortable. That’s where it actually shows up.

Curious what everyone defaults to… Feel free to explain the why behind it 😂 It’s funny how a few emojis can say a lot about how we think, communicate, and even how we show up. Drop yours below 👇🏽 Also, quick reminder, our 2nd Accountability Call is next Saturday as we wrap up Q1.

100 MEMBERS!!
Last time I spoke with @Bruno Militz about goal setting, he said that he had somewhat of a goal to reach 100 members before March 31st And even though it wasn't his main priority to grow his community, he still achieved his goal! Congratulations and I'm glad to be a part of it :)
