Matt is Awesome!
Hey Matt! Thanks for taking the time to record that video man. I 100% agree with you I put a price tag so that people wouldnโ€™t join because this is like my 1st week of actually thinking about building out a community and Iโ€™m a bit of a perfectionist and since there is nothing there yet. I didnโ€™t want people to join and see nothing. Iโ€™ve been absorbing content and trying to figure out what Iโ€™m even doing lol. I think Iโ€™ll eventually start a free community and just try to provide free content for a while and get some community members. Kind of like a build in public thing. Iโ€™m having a, what did ChatGPT call it, a creative explosion of ideas. So I have an ai community idea, coaching, Spanish language, ghl community, etcโ€ฆ I have been working on gaining some clarity about , like you said, that one thing that really fires me up that I can stick with forever. Iโ€™m also weighing that with a niche that is not super saturated. Iโ€™m leaning towards coaching and educating about ai for business owners who know nothing about it. Itโ€™s hard to think about what I know that other people donโ€™t because itโ€™s so easy for me that I feel like everyone knows it. That itโ€™s not valuable. Sorry for the book! lol Let me know if there is anything I can help you with as well!

@Matt Burns No problem Matt, you are the first person on here to take this level of effort in and Iโ€™ve been around in here for a few years. I see the effort and the dedication. It inspires me to do more in my own community!
Who are you?
Hey everyone! ๐Ÿ‘‹ This is our official "get to know each other" post for the whole group. Jump into the comments and tell us about yourself! (no pressure of course) Here's a few ideas to get started: - What got you into community building and is that what you do for a living? - What do you love to do in your free time? - What are you super proud of and why? - Feel free to link to your website or community Quick note: We want to get to know YOU as a person, so please focus your answer on, well, you! After you introduce yourself, scroll through and check out what others have shared. Leave some replies and connect with people - that's what this is all about! Can't wait to meet you all properly! ๐Ÿ™‚ Cheers, Matt

Hello! My name is Dylan. I am very new to community building, I love business and marketing, the creativity of coming up with business ideas and putting together offers is a lot of fun. I think thatโ€™s why get stuck in analysis paralysis before I actually build anything. I am a father to two wonderful girls and they are my world. Most my free time is spent on working on business and freelancing and my daughters. Looking forward to connecting with you all on here!
๐ŸŒŸ What Iโ€™m Hoping to Learn (and Share) in This Community
Hey everyone, Iโ€™m Rachel โ€” thanks to Matt for the warm welcome! ๐Ÿ‘‹ When I think about what a โ€œwinโ€ looks like for me in being here, it goes deeper than just numbers or growing a group for the sake of it. ๐Ÿ‘‰ My main goal is to learn how to build an engaged and supportive community from the ground up. That means: - Creating real conversations instead of just posts that sit there. - Learning effective onboarding so new members feel connected right away. - Finding ways to keep people active and engaged, even when life gets busy. - Building a space where members feel like they belong and are seen, not just โ€œin a group.โ€ Iโ€™d also love to pick up strategies around: โœ… Sparking interaction โœ… Keeping momentum going โœ… Creating value that members actually want to come back for At the same time, I want to give back where I can. Iโ€™ve had some experience creating smaller groups around things like farming, digital products, and supporting people who learn differently. What Iโ€™ve noticed is that no matter the niche, people stay when they feel: ๐Ÿ’ฌ Heard ๐Ÿค Connected ๐ŸŒฑ Like theyโ€™re growing Iโ€™m excited to share what Iโ€™ve learned so far, hear whatโ€™s worked (or hasnโ€™t worked) for you all, and hopefully grow together as community builders. So let me throw a question back to you all: ๐Ÿ‘‰ Whatโ€™s one thing youโ€™ve seen that really makes a community feel alive? Canโ€™t wait to hear your thoughts! ๐Ÿš€

Hi Rachel! Love your post itโ€™s very easy to read. I tend to throw up a paragraph brick. lol The communities where I have most engaged in were the ones that got me to do something early for instance. A group called real men real style said in the intro post that anyone who doesnโ€™t complete 3 things in 24 hours will be removed. Post about myself in the introduction thread. Find a post I like and leave a comment Watch the intro video. There was so much engagement from the community I felt super welcomed and am still active in it to this day.
