Week 1 Teaching — John 1–4
In this video, I walk through key moments in John 1–4 that stood out to me, share context to deepen understanding, and break down verses that reveal who Jesus is and how He meets us personally. This is meant to guide your reading, not rush it—helping you slow down, reflect, and connect with the Word. You’ll hear: • Insights that personally impacted me • Scripture explained with simple context • Reflection questions to help you apply what you’re reading • Details about our end-of-month live discussion (Premium access) As you watch, listen for what the Holy Spirit highlights for you. Pause when something resonates, and return to the text with fresh eyes. At the end, I’d love your feedback—what helped, what you’d like more of, and what you’re hoping to learn as we continue through the Gospel of John.

I really enjoyed that a lot. Something that stuck with me was talking about having a purpose. Thank you very much!
Prayers for healing
I’m dealing with a rough case of the flu and would appreciate prayers for healing, rest, and strength as I recover. Grateful for God’s care and for this community. Thank you all.
Midweek check-in 🤍
How are you doing with the Gospel of John so far? Whether you’re right on track, a little behind, or just opening your Bible today—you’re still showing up, and that matters. This study isn’t about keeping pace. It’s about staying connected and returning when life gets busy. What chapter are you in right now? Or—what verse has stood out to you so far this week? Take a moment to pause, breathe, and meet God in the middle of your week.

“The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness can never extinguish it.” John 1:5 (NLT)
When I needed to slow down, I remembered this verse.
Habakkuk 2:3 (NLT) “This vision is for a future time. It describes the end, and it will be fulfilled. If it seems slow in coming, wait patiently, for it will surely take place. It will not be delayed.” This verse met me differently this past year. I used to read “slow” as something that needed to be fixed — a sign that I wasn’t doing enough or moving fast enough. Over time, I began to understand that God’s pace is not a problem to solve, but a rhythm to trust. Waiting patiently didn’t mean standing still or giving up. It meant learning to release control, resist rushing outcomes, and remain faithful in the present moment. Slowing down created space for prayer, reflection, and deeper awareness of where God was already at work. This verse reminded me that God is not late, even when His timing feels slow. What He promises will be fulfilled — not according to my urgency, but according to His purpose.
