When you ask God for something he might not always give it to you the way you think
I know we all have been through a lot of hard stuff in our lives I had a really rough childhood I asked God for a lot of things God has given me so much more than I’ll ever deserve He gave me my reason to smile back he gave me my reason to keep on living we ask God for a lot of things, but when we ask God for things, he knows how to give it to us We don’t always understand I asked God for patience and to keep my anger down that might look like a bad day at work coworkers and customers getting upset for no reason, gives me the opportunity to practice that patient I was asking for something not going my way or spilling absolute garbage all over myself because the trash bag wasn’t tied or there was a hole in It might be an opportunity to practice not to get upset at anyone are used to look at life Why is this happening to me thanks to God I now take a look at how can God use this to improve me? I love to watch as God narrows all of us as we grew closer to him as he narrows our eyesight from how we think our prayers should be answered too how it looks to a more biblical and Christlike outlook on it cause once we start doing that we can look at every opportunity or something that just randomly pops up as something that was sent from God to help us or something the enemy tried to throw in there to distract us from the way God is leading us and we might not know how we need Our prayers to be answered We just want them answered to our specific way thankfully we serve a merciful gracious, giving Lord, who knows exactly what we need and he gives us every opportunity to grow with him each and every day thank you Jesus for being here with each and every one of us thank you Jesus for pushing this group towards you thank you Jesus for leading this group in a way that only you can thank you Jesus for Victor and the other members thank you Jesus for teaching us thank you, Jesus!

Any Tips on this?
Hey, I have been noticing that I tend to be more tempted to fall in when I get bored and unsure of what to do? What are some ways you guys deal with this (read bible more/pray, etc..) Also, do you guys also have tips on taking cold showers in the morning when your brain doesn't want to? Thanks!!🙏
LUST GIVES DEMONS LEGAL RIGHT IN YOUR LIFE
Every time you give in, you’re not “fighting a bad habit.”You are inviting something ancient, intelligent, and hostile to sit in your mind and feed on you. You think you’re clicking a website?Scrolling a reel?Letting your imagination drift? No. You are opening a spiritual door and yelling into the dark:“COME IN. I GIVE YOU PERMISSION.” Demons don’t invade. They wait for you to crack the door.Lust is the crack. Lust Turns You Into a Host Body Demons want your HABITS.Your IMPULSES.Your NEUROLOGY. Why? Because the more you obey lust, the more your brain is shaped to follow demonic instruction without resistance. Men think the urge is theirs. No. It's installed like malware. The urge is the demon’s voice.Your compliance is the handshake. Lust Makes You a Coward Without You Knowing Demons don’t just want you addicted—they want you harmless. Lust robs your voice.Your confidence.Your aggression.Your spiritual authority.Your ability to lead.Your ability to conquer. Because as long as you’re chained in your room with your pants around your ankles, you’ll never become the man God designed to terrify the kingdom of darkness. They neuter you with your own impulses. That’s the brutality of it. Lust Is a Contract With Hell You don’t sign it with ink. You sign it with your repetition. Every fall is a signature.Every relapse is a renewal. Hell doesn’t need lawyers. They just need your agreement. And the moment you say:“I can’t help it,”“I’m weak,”“It’s just what men do,”— You’re not resisting anymore. You’re cooperating. The progression is predictable: - Lust - Addiction - Isolation - Depression - Numbness - Identity collapse - Self-hatred - Death of purpose That is the demonic life cycle. They want you alive enough to sin, dead enough to be useless. But there is hope in Christ, he sets us free by his grace. What will you choose today? https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZTrmKvQ26/

Amen all the way. That hits really deep.!
Daily post: beginning
Recently I’ve been struggling. I’d gotten so used to the month long high of not having any lustful desired that this challenge became somewhat of a side quest, because I thought I was already free. This drastically led me to fall, and in falling I was confused. I forgot all the stuff I’d learned from this challenge, because I hadn’t taken it seriously enough. Today is the beginning. The beginning of me learning how dealing with lust actually looks in the moment. The beginning of true healing in Jesus. Stay strong guys, and please reach out when your are feeling these lustful intentions. Hiding the lust and not bringing it to light was something I did without really understanding it. Stay strong guys, God bless

Let’s goo. It’s hard to share stories. Looking forward to seeing the journey!
Beginning
Hey, My name is Dylan Craig and I’m a sophomore college music ed student. My primary instrument is piano and I also play percussion on the side as a secondary. I’ve been struggling with lust for a long time and i know that this will destroy everything that I hold dear in this life. In my walk, I’ve tried to find “solutions” like dealing with it on my own or finding sites that said they knew, but really didn’t. I tried reading my Bible and praying more but was still stuck in the same cycle. They never told me how or what to do/a system. They said you can find freedom. The issue with me is I’ve dealt with this for a long time mentally that I’m not sure what freedom even looks like. I’ve been in my walk with God since spring semester of my freshmen year and feel a pull by God to go and see this through. (That’s just a mini story in a nutshell) I appreciate all of you. Praise God!
