I Didn't Need a Better Body. I Needed a Better Mirror!
For years I thought the fix was simple — lose the weight, and the way I felt about myself would follow. So I chased the number on the scale like it was going to hand me my worth when I got there. Here's what nobody told me: Genesis 1:27 already settled my worth before I ever stepped on a scale. "So God created man in his own image." Not "will create," once he earns it. Already. The image was stamped on me before I had a job, before I had a body I was proud of, before I had anything to show for myself. I was grading myself with a rubric God never wrote. My job performance, my reflection, my discipline that week — none of that was ever the actual scorecard. It just felt like it, because it's the only one I could see. So here's the question for today: Where have you let your worth get tied to a performance review — at work, in the mirror, or somewhere else — instead of the truth that it was already settled before you clocked in anywhere? Drop it below. Doesn't have to be pretty.

Thank you for this, I have always felt I needed my "bosses" approval to be where I should be. You have just told us (me) that I was created in God's image [OK the Bible said it] so I don't need to worry about what I or others think about me. God has me in his hand.😀
The Lie I Believed Longer Than Any Sin
If I'm honest, my problem was never really believing God was disappointed in me. Deep down I knew He wasn't. My problem was I was so disappointed in myself that it didn't matter what He said — I couldn't receive it. That's a sneakier trap. It doesn't look like doubting God. It looks like self-hatred wearing the mask of humility. And it kept me out of the mirror, off the beach with my own kids, and further from God than any actual sin ever did. Psalm 139:14 doesn't say "I will be fearfully and wonderfully made once I fix this." It says **already**. Past tense. Before you did anything about it. So here's the real question not "do you believe God loves you," but: **Where has your own disappointment in yourself become the thing standing between you and God — even when you know, technically, He's not mad at you?** Drop it below. Doesn't have to be pretty.

It is very personal and I don't want to talk about it. Just want to say thank you for a new view. God is still working on me and I need to let Him. Hope all is well with everyone. God is still on HIs thrown.😊
How Can I better serve you?
Hey everyone. My goal for this community is to help everyone transform their lives physically and by transforming it physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. To be honest with you I don't feel like I've been doing that great of a job of it. With that I really want to know how I can better help you guys on this journey. There's all the information within the classroom here that you can find to do the steps but how can I encourage you guys and keep you accountable and motivate you while you're on this journey?

I completely agree with Jenny and wish I could say it as well. I really enjoyed the devotionals and we could talk, but schedules got in the way. Or may be that was just me going back to work, oh ya that would be a schedule. 😁 Keep up what you are doing, it has been great for me.
Good morning.
Just wanted to post today's devotional. You can find the devotional in the classroom. You can download it today. We're on day 37. Hope everybody's doing great.
Good morning.

Thank you for posting this. The area I need to work on is leadership at church, I show up do my part but do not go past what is needed. I should push on in what God wants not just in what keeps man happy.

How is everyone doing? Does food taste different? Are you enjoying it more? Are you enjoying it less? How is your stomache feeling? Hows the workout going? My answers are in the comments.

@Jenny Yarnall I like the idea of the big jug. It might help me to get my water in. Thanks.
