Have you had any trouble getting your tracks onto Apple through DistroKid? I made the mistake of using Ditto and they refuse to send Ai tracks to Apple claiming it is part of their contract...at first they flat out lied to me telling me Apple doesn't accept ai music which is total BS because in the beginning a few of my tracks got onto Apple, then they just stopped sending them there. I am going to move all new releases over to Distro Kid and then eventually get my catalog off of Ditto...

Anyone got any tips or strategies about deciding upon a new artist name. I thought I had it locked in but chatGPT, claude and Gemini all advise against my choice for various reasons - too many similarly named artists or likely to trigger "did you mean . . . " responses from search engines. The suggestions I am getting from the LLMs are either garbage or just weird. I have an album ready to go but I just can't seem to find the right name. This isn't about perfection either - I haven't gotten one half decent name back from the LLMs. Any tips and or strategies would be greatly appreciated.
