Pandiculate Like You Mean it! - HOMEWORK
Lately I've become increasingly aware how much I hold myself back from natural arising actions/feelings - movements, stretches, yawns, satisfaction noises - my suspicion is that it is out of some hidden fear of being judged for being too expressive. It's like I hold back because I want to be 'polite' to others around me who may be offended by freedom somehow. Half the time there is no-one else even around me anyway so it's like a leash I am holding around my own neck. The 'mmm's' of good food and the 'aaaah's' of a good stretch! So I started to make conscious effort to start notice these little moments and I'm starting to LEANING Into Them and DAMN IT FEELS GOOD! The most satisfying one is the classic pandiculation/yawn stretch, I notice when my body is starting to do it and I focus fully on it and go all the way into it. Contract the muscles that want to contract, take the breath that want's to happen, make the noise that wants to be sounded! I am now also that weirdo at yoga who is making satisfaction noises with the stretches but I tell you THEY ARE PART OF THE POSTURE! HOMEWORK... Simply this, to notice these moments in your day - yawns, natural stretches, good food, orgasm (heck even sneezes is a big one I notice people hold back on) - and steer right into them! This isn't about faking it but about being like that Child who has no fear of full expression of everything that arises. If you try and want to share an experience below or in the telegram or just hit the comments with an emoji when you've felt it 🐈 Tim

Not sure if "feather barrier" is only sensory motor amnesia. I comment to this because I really want to understand. For me, due to the results of practicing "feather barrier" - an increase in strength, less to no pain, even more endurance - this concept is a bit more than a simple amensia removal. I hope Tim can clarify a bit more his ideea.
Personal Trainer Qualification - UK?
Hope this is acceptable to post here, appreciate it may be a bit cheeky but I value the opinion's of this likeminded community. (please delete or let me know if not) I'm looking to make a career change and move into personal training. I'm trying to decide on a Lev2/Lev3 course provider and am a bit bamboozled. A lot of negative reviews around all of the providers, and a fair few opinions from PTs saying they didn't actually learn anything new on their course and it was just a box ticking exercise to get a bit of paper for insurance reasons. Any UK PTs out there with experience on courses or opinions on providers? Currently torn between just going for a cheap and cheerful option and getting it done. Or spending a bit more on something like PFCA that looks to actually teach a more holistic approach, but costs a lot more. I don't plan to go into standard globo-gym PTing and want to set up something online focussed on holistic health for busy working dads (as thats what i am myself and know well). Thanks!

Maybe Tim can answer this question Aggie. On the other hand, more or less these ""barriers" for entering in an industry are present everywhere in any industry. It depends if you feel that you have enough knowledge in order not to do harm to your clients and, indirectly, your business/career. Right now there is a big debate between so called traditional fitness and people like David Weck. In my humble opinion if those "check marks" need to be done than do them and then adapt to the client's mentally using the "traditional" or Weckmethod/Tim's gym approach accordingly. Anyway I think the learning procees never stops.
Mind Body Unlock
Hey fam, literally just got done doing my second day of module 1 of Stable and I had a huge unlock for myself that I felt called to share. I was doing the sitting portion and I was having trouble staying on without tapping the floor every 2 seconds or so. I continued with it and then I went into sitting onto my hamstrings with my torso bent forward. I could hold that position for a few seconds more but still woul continue tapping. Then the aha moment came to my mind! I heard a voice say “Trust”. Immediately after hearing that voice I could feel myself trust my body. All of a sudden I was staying on without tapping for over 10 seconds. It was such a “eureka” for me! I could feel my logical mind take a back seat and surrender to the innate intelligence of my body and allow it to respond and react on its own without me trying to hikack it. I just hopped on the ball again after typing that above and though I didn’t time it, I stayed on the ball without touching the ground for about a full minute. I’m in such a high right now! Not because of the physical gains but because of the profound mind body connedction I just experienced. So grateful to have found this and looking forward to more breakthroughs and unlocks!! Cheers to everyone!

SWINGS 'N SPRINGS IS OUT!
PHEW 😅 I have been working my a** off to get this together before my trip to visit Weck in San Diego on Wednesday but the deadline helped me push through. I also think it's the highest quality content I've made thus far for the School here. So if you'll do me the honor of taking a look over the next week over in the Classroom section of this site, I hope there's something for everyone in there. Feel free to shoot me any questions about any of it too! Your brother, Tim https://www.skool.com/timsgym/classroom/c8cb8b7f?md=a689b6cbd0d148aa8994c38d2e1cbd26

Parkour was on my "to learn" list forever. When I was young I was running on the huge rocks used to protect the promontories of some touristic resorts of the Black Sea. I can understand now that the whole Tym's Gym was made with the purpose to allow you, Tim, to do Parkour again. This time less enthusiastic but more playful, less injured and less in danger to be hurt. I can say that the whole concept makes a lot more sense now when I heard your own theory about "every cell intending to move in the same direction". Thank you Tim for the hope you gave me that I can finally check an important point on my "to learn" list.
GRIP CONDITIONING SESSION (new vid)
Hey all! 👋🏼 My new Course 'SWINGS N SPRINGS' is coming together nicely, and for part of the SWINGS Module I thought it important to add some Grip and Shoulder Conditioning to prepare everyone for the joy of Swinging that is to come 🐒 I plan to have the full course ready by early October but as I just finished this specific video today (fresh of the press) it gives you all a chance to start training your shoulders and fingertips 💪 Please give it a go sometime in the next few days. Let me know how you find it (the good the bad the ugly) feel free to film movements and send them me for feedback. Share in the telegram group etc. OUSS 👊 Tim

@Stuart Elwell Practice is the only logical way. Tim is bringing also some fun in this. At least it looks fun when he is showing the moves. What I have noticed trying to improve my grip strength is that is one of the most volatile types of strength. So, my own humble opinion is that practice and consistency are the keys for this.

Movement, especially being able to move myself. If I can convince others to move as well is just a bonus.
