Social media can be a transformative tool AND it can also stir feelings of comparison, sadness, anger (especially around politics), or even deep grief (as we've seen with Gaza), just to name a few. I encourage my community to consciously curate their online experience to help soften some of these emotional impacts. Balance and moderation matter. I’m personally grateful for how social media connected me to Matt, which eventually connected me to all of you. But at the end of the day, none of us should be handing over our power to it. Remember, you still have agency when it comes to social media. We get to choose the role it plays in our lives. This is just one beautiful example of how we can build and maintain community without it.
