Welcome to the page. This is a work in progress and the goal is to get people together to do some hard things. Please read some article that have writen to help you understand things about how I veiw training. Perhaps the comunity can expand on this and we can grow a library. Sometimes slow is faster, I’m 65. I only go as hard as I can without injuring myself. I choose consistency over intensity at this stage of my life. When I was a youngster I ran too hard too much time with my heart rate in zone 5. Therefore no matter how hard I trained, I had an aerobic deficiency. Didn’t realize you needed the majority of your cardio training with your heart rate in zones 1 and a little bit in zone 2.

I’m 65 years old and I live in the Eastern Sierra in the town of Bishop. I have been climbing for 50 hiking for 55 years, and skiing for 45 years.
