Hey everyone!
I'm Angie. I work full time at a hospital and spend most of my free time running, hiking, climbing and exploring mountains. I am currently training for my first marathon while building strength for outdoor adventures. It's awesome to be part of a community of people who love challenging themselves and embracing the process. Looking forward to learning, exchanging knowledge and growing alongside athletes who are passionate about getting stronger and exploring what's possible.

He is in Zone 2 running a 6:30 mile pace in that clip. He prefers Coros over Garmin for his long mountain runs. "Life is like a box of GU's".
New Article Drop. Fueling in the Mountains
Good day. I just put anothere article with graphics in the class room. These are guidlins for most. When it come to performance fueling it can be a real indavidual protacal. No broad, brushing nutrition when the body is under stress. Getting your nutrition dialed in takes practice over months and it should be practiced while you’re training on your long runs or Rikes during your biuld up to the big show. From much experiance I have hit the WALL 10 miles out and not much nutrition to pull me out of it. The day is now FUBAR. Slow drag to the car and even slower because its going to be night. Head space is now blown out. Staring at dancing shadows on the trail from your head lamp. You get to the truck ready to devour old seat cushions because they contain salt from sweat. You pray that there’s something that fell between the seats and it’s still edible. Hoping for that you didn throw away that Dorito bag that was stuck under the seat. I’ve been there. It’s not a good spot. Learn. from me …. Take extra. Have a stash in that pack that is crack open when its a SNAFU.

Climbing on Limestone
Lately I’ve been spending time at Mount Charleston just outside of Vegas to take advantage of the cool temperatures. It’s been well over 100° in Vegas and been in the mid 70s at Charleston and sometimes quite chilly in the shade. What like about Climbing limestone around there that every Craig seems to have a different climbing style. Some of the climbs are smooth with small rails then there are others areas with a phenomenon called "churt" which consist of a different consistency of stone embedded in the limestone that makes great little cramp holds. Churt has been providing a lot of cool Climbing opportunities with different styles of beta. Have been excited about Climbing like I was when I first started out years ago. Although I started out trad Climbing and then picked up sport climbing years later my first sport climbs were on limestone, but it completely different style. Recently, I’ve have met pretty cool dudes from the Vegas area and having good partners can make or break. I’m excited to what’s to come for the next year with my personal training and Sharp End Athletes. Let me know if there is anything on your horizon?

Please read some article that have writen to help you understand things about how I veiw training. Perhaps the comunity can expand on this and we can grow a library. There are objectives that are being published and more training plans in the weeks to come.
