Teal Stone Hutch Plans and IFA Feed Bin Nest Boxes
Our Does LOVE the hutches and nest boxes we're providing. Teal Stone Rabbitry has plans for "Grow Out" hutches, and we've converted these to dual "Doe Kindling Hutches." We build the hutch, divide it in half, cut an opening for each side in the back, then modified an IFA feed bin and bolt/hang it on the back as a 'nest box'. We've been documenting bits of the process, and we have a full hutch and 2 more bins to assemble. (more photos, yaaay) I've added vids of Viva Six and her kits, and the bin open from the back on Cinnabunny's nest box. We usually drop black oil sunflower seeds in the dish, then open and check the kits while mom is busy eating. :)

Ground Turkey and Keto Carrot Loaf w/Kvass!
There's just something awesome about adding umami flavors to your meal. Here's a small loaf I whipped up to share with my wife today... - Ground Turkey - Small amount of Keto Carrots - Dash of Kvass (The juice from lacto ferments like Keto Carrots) - Fresh sprig of Rosemary - Freeze dried Onion/Garlic - Thyme - Pink Himalayan Salt Topped with chopped broccoli and parsley Covered and oven baked at 350F/176C for 45 minutes Cool note to those who do not like broccoli after it has cooked and cooled (uh... me!), the good broccoli flavors remain and it's still a delight to eat. :D

@Jake Hudecek This is one you'll be very glad you took the time for. So will everyone else that eats it as well. Spread the health and smiles. :D

I just dropped $300+ on a Sound System for My Rabbits...
Seriously, the 'barn' is a 40'x70' shop with 4 roll up doors you can drive a semi-truck through. When it's windy the doors rattle and it freaks out the rabbits. We've fixed most of the rattling, but now I'm playing podcasts loud enough it soothes them rather nicely. :) I bought a JBL-110 Sound Bar, and now I want one for my house too. lol Ok, so my rabbits do not need the lights on it, but they do appreciate the noise. Eventually I plan on having 4 large tv screens so they can watch movies. (Did you know rabbits like to watch movies? Ask me about the time I kept 4 rabbit hutches in my bedroom for 6 months.) BTW... I'm VERY impressed with this JBL-110 sound bar. The sound output is amazing, and it fills the 40x70 space easily. (I was concerned it would be too small for such a large space) With microphone and guitar inputs, aux in and aux out, it's rather well designed. I'm only using the bluetooth with an old phone I have with downloaded podcasts. The only downside (so far) is it seems to power off every other day or so, even though the phone is still playing podcasts. Have to look into that.

@Jake Hudecek I'll see about pics/vids tomorrow if I remember. I'm unable to find what I want on the laptop here, but I know I have some on my phone. :) Huge space... less than a dozen rabbits. lol

Who's Interested in Medicinal Banana Wines?
Super simple to make yourself, and so much healthier than any off the shelf bottle you can buy. Bananas are insanely inexpensive in many places, especially when they're overripe and on sale. ;) Let me know if you have any preferences in the comments. At the moment I'm documenting the process of my latest batch, and I'll be turning it into a class and free PDF. TL;DR Bananas are insanely awesome for all but one type of the "A" blood type. I'm that type, but I still make this wine for the rest of my family who do not suffer such problems as myself. *heavy-sigh* LOLOLOL :) The Medicinal Stuffs When combined with herbs and spices to make a tonic, these health benefits are increased through 30ml-60ml "Shots." (No, after infusing the wines should not be drunk in normal wine quantities. Drinking wine quantities 'before' infusing is perfectly fine. lol) Here are the main health benefits of fermented bananas: - Significant Probiotic Boost for Gut Health: The fermentation process introduces beneficial, live microorganisms (bacteria and yeast) that act as probiotics. These help balance stomach acids, reduce inflammation in the gut, and can aid in treating conditions like irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). (all pro-biotic benefits are killed in commercial wines before bottling!) - Enhanced Digestibility: The fermentation process breaks down complex starches and sugars in the banana, making them easier for the body to digest. This reduces the strain on the digestive system and helps relieve issues like bloating. - Immune System Support: Because 80% of the immune system is located in the gut, the probiotics in fermented bananas directly support and strengthen the body's immune response. (Again, commercial wines kill all these benefits off before bottling) - Increased Nutrient Availability: Fermentation increases the availability of nutrients, such as vitamins A, B, C, and K, making them easier for the body to absorb. - Anti-inflammatory and Antioxidant Properties: Fermented bananas contain bioactive compounds, including antioxidants and phenolic compounds, that help reduce inflammation, fight oxidative stress, and may help detoxify the liver. - Supports Metabolic Health: Fermented foods can improve metabolism, helping the body regulate inflammation and improve overall metabolic function. - Blood Sugar Regulation: Due to the conversion of sugar during the fermentation process, fermented bananas (especially when fermented from greener bananas) may offer better blood sugar management compared to ripe, non-fermented bananas. - Reduction of Anti-Nutritional Factors: The process helps reduce anti-nutritional factors like phytates and oxalates, which can otherwise hinder nutrient absorption.

My main goal is to build the recipes without using sugar/honey/agave or any sweeteners. I'm considering a hybrid Chinese rice wine, with banana mash mixed in at the 3 day point. This will increase the alcohol % without the side effects from simple sugar fermentation.

So it looks like I'll have to add some rice for the most efficacy with the tonics. A slightly higher ABV provides more medicinal content. ;) I haven't made banana wine in ages, and I always used sugars back then.
Name Change! We are, for the moment... Root of the Pain Society
Goofy title, but it's the first step toward the final name for this community. My goal is to help the most people, and the power of root oil is the most inflammation and pain relieving oils you can use at home. Wheeeeeeee! P.s. Yes, the other info will still be available. ;)

Ok... so I'm now leaning toward making it an "Insert Community Name HERE" group, instead of attempting to put the purpose in the name. So it's "Primal Matrix" for the time being. LOL :D

Ok... I have now changed the name to "Insert Group Name Here" and I'm VERY glad I have not paid for a custom url yet. LOL
