Hardening off
What is the best way to harden off plants coming from an indoor grow to an outdoor grow?

I do somewhat the same. I set them out where they'll get 1-2hrs of morning sun before they're in the shade. The next day I'll give them 3-4 hours in the morning and maybe a couple hours in the evening. The rest of those days it's simply in shade. Day 3 I put it out 5+ hours and day 4 it's full sun.
🌸 Grow Log Update #6 - Harvest Day 🌸
So it's finally that time . . . harvesting! To be fair, I actually harvested a little while ago, but I only updated the main grow log because I didn't have a ton to say at that time. Now I have time to yap haha. Click here to go to the main log I'll also attach the video I took to this post, as well as the main log. I officially harvested on April 9th. That would've been the start of day 69 of flower, but I chopped everything right before my lights normally turn on, so let's call it 68 days of flowering (if you're able to, that's my favorite time to harvest - right before sun-up / lights on). Everything is in the dry tent now, and I talk a little bit about my setup in the video if you're interested. I also have a whole section on drying & curing in the classroom. Here's a link to the Drying Section. I've been stealing nugs off my plants since day 2 of drying, which I definitely don't recommend doing, but I can't help myself haha. Obviously the taste isn't there yet, it's just too wet still, but I've been really impressed with the effects & the fact that it doesn't taste as terrible as it prob should right now. Those are very good signs for the future! ————————————————————— I plan on doing a whole breakdown for each strain after the drying / curing, but in the meantime, I still try to take note of the different effects of each plant. I have a pretty decent spread of effects between all 4 plants, and I'm happy to say that I think each one has been filling different roles for me (which is always a plus, that's a big part of why I like variety when growing). Here's a rough breakdown of the effects of each one so far. Lavender: This was the first one I tried because I didn't really have a lot of expectations. I was very pleasantly surprised . . . This plant hits hard, and pretty quick. The onset is super heady, almost like a traditional "sativa" effect, and is right there on the edge of being a little too much for me, but stops right before getting to the point of anxiousness or racing thoughts (which is great). Lots of feel good effects.

@Leslie Miller You want Ultra-Fine Mesh Row Covers. Yep! When the dust is blowing around, it tends to slide off and hit the ground or drop to the ground after passing through. The alternative is to wash it with water and H2O2, with a light lemon-juice rinse.

@Jake Hudecek I do. I had some commercial clones with massive powdery mildew issues once. Can't even tell after washing, except a few flowers here and there that did not get completely washed.
My Personal Grow Log - Season 1🌱🍃
I decided to make a Grow Log series that follows along with my indoor plants! There's a written section and a video for each update, talking about what I'm doing & my thought process behind everything. This will be a master "thread" that gets updated over time but I want to keep everything in one place and as organized as possible. If you have suggestions for how to do it better, let me know! Here's the details of my setup: ------------------------------- 🏠 Indoors ⛺ 4x4 Tent - AC Infinity ☀️ LED Lights - Highgrove Magnolia 6 or 8, I can't remember the name 🪱 Homemade living soil mix in 30 gal pots ; 2nd round in this soil (You can find the recipe in the Classroom) I'm starting from clone, using the original breeder's cuts (supposedly) of the following strains: Blue Dream GG #4 Lavender Madd Fruit These were preserved from the 90's - 2000's era from the original breeders (or someone in their circles), and are super special to me. I have a bunch of others to run through but these were the first ones ready. They're supposed to be some pretty elite cuts, and I'm honored to have been gifted them. I'll try to showcase cool traits as we go. ------------------------------- ⬇️ Everything below here will be grow log updates, numbered and roughly dated. The videos will be at the bottom of the post and labeled to match with the written posts. ⬇️ ------------------------------- ------------- 🌱 UPDATE #1 (December 25th) - Early Veg YouTube link: https://youtu.be/QhkxVZe90rE I haven’t done very much besides transplanting plants and watering a few times. I added some microbes as soon as I got plants in the soil but that's about it. It's a pain to mix your own soil, but if done correctly it does most of the work for you! I'm using "Rootwise Mycrobe Complete" as my microbes product right now, but I change it occasionally. It’s been about 10 days since the last watering, and I left them on their own for a week while I was out town without any problems.

Now what?
OK, so my two remaining two plants are autoflowers and they are thickening up nicelybut the big fan leaves are yellowing. I haven't been out in a day until right now and now this. I can't tell if it's spider mites or not… maybe it's just a fade. I don't know my other plants were so purple. I see a little bit of damage from some pest or another, but not a lot. What do you guys think? I don't think it's over watering but I'm not sure…they weren't really super wet and opted two givethem a little drink… Please advise!! I use my own home living soil ,all organic, and I have Biolive in it and only water with clear dechlorinated tapwater. Thoughts? ** Kitty for cuteness

@Leslie Miller Yes. Superthrive is not recommended except for seedlings and clones. It has a lot of synthetics in it, and excessive amounts have been known to cause hermis...
