@Virginia Puccio wasn't it all so insightful??? I just completed the last integration this evening and WOW! Yes--agree, some things new and some things were reminders. So very cool! Love you!!!
Welcome, ConSynths (Yes, that probably means you)
If you’ve ever been called “all over the place,” “multipassionate,” or the dreaded “jack-of-all-trades,” here’s your reframe: you’re a ConSynth—a conceptual synthesist. You fuse lenses from different worlds into something new and useful. That’s not scattered; that’s sovereign. What’s a ConSynth? A builder who spots patterns, stitches a model, and ships it so others can use it. It’s how Smart • Funny • Tortured actually moves: - SMART (skills + acumen + experience) → inputs & pattern recognition - FUNNY (joy + flow + pleasure) → translation layer that makes ideas sticky - TORTURED (shame + trauma + desire) → fuel and constraint that force clarity→ ESSENCE (sovereign output) you can teach, sell, or live by Quick examples of ConSynth in the wild🥇 - Lin-Manuel Miranda: hip-hop × U.S. history × Broadway → Hamilton. - Hedy Lamarr: film × radio engineering → frequency-hopping (Wi-Fi ancestor). - Steve Jobs: calligraphy × computing × industrial design → the Mac UI aesthetic. - Temple Grandin: animal behavior × systems design → humane livestock systems. - Rick Rubin: cross-genre listening × minimalism × artist psychology → career-reviving albums. Old labels → SFT truth ✨ - “Jack of all trades” → Cross-domain integrator - “ADHD scatterbrain” → High-bandwidth pattern detector - “Can’t pick a lane” → Builds lanes, names them, invites others to drive The job: turn your mixed bag (lived experience + study + scars + humor) into frameworks, tools, and stories that help people move. 🧠 A Question to Claim Your ConSynth Identity Answer in the comments. Keep it raw, specific, and real. ❓Which pain or constraint has secretly been your best teacher? Describe the rule or model it forced you to invent. (If you were training someone you love, how would you teach them that rule in one page?) ✨ Bottom line: If you live SFT, you’re already doing conceptual synthesis. The name ConSynth just strips the shame and hands you the keys. Let’s see your first map.

I LOVE this reframe! I do feel like the term "jack of all trades" often conjures up a negative connotation. I consider myself one and I think my website even says, "I'm a Jane of all trades." Ha, ha! I am taking my power back and infusing this with the knowing and confidence of a CONSYNTH, bitches!!!!
😂 Defiant Joy from the FUNNY Workshop ✨
Tonight’s Funny workshop was pure magic. The laughter, the honesty, and the moments of awakening to the pursuit of pleasure to activate joy reminded us why this pillar is so essential. Thank you to everyone who showed up with your humor, your stories, and your light. Share the light that stayed with you—whether it was a breakthrough about joy, an insight on flow, or simply a moment that made you smile. Your reflection could be the medicine another member needs today. 🌟 🗓️ And remember: these workshops are not about perfection or completion—they’re about connection. You don’t need to have every worksheet done to join. Just bring yourself, your curiosity, and your willingness to play. Check the Calendar tab for the next gathering (September 10th at 6PM). Until then—drop your takeaways below and keep spreading the joy with your Smart Funny Tortured family. 💫

@Virginia Puccio YES, Virg!!! Letting go of structure just for a moment can often invite those little fun butterflies of joy (or deep rooted panic, depending on your personality, ha!), but I know you--and it would be really sweet to see you in more spontaneous situations where the unexpected can happen... LOVE YOU!
SFT Card Pull for the Labor Day Weekend
I hope everyone is having a lovely weekend. I decided to pull just from the FUNNY pile to give you something to reflect on and share with the group. I specifically chose funny again for the weekend in order for us all to think about what is our joy, what puts us in flow state and what gives us or how do we give pleasure. Please share in the comments so we can all bask in each other’s FUNNY.

Okay, don't judge, but the last thing that brought me ABSURD joy was Taylor and Travis getting engaged! I felt like it was a holiday that day, and you know what? I could feel the effect their news had on everyone, globally. Their joy is super public, so I felt like we could all bask in it as well! So many heavy things are happening and this piece of happy news created a ripple effect of ABSURD joy!!! I CANNOT WAIT FOR THE WEDDING!!!!!!
