Hi everyone, I'm excited to be a part of this community! I started painting years ago, loved it, but have been out of it for probably 15-20 years. Comparison and perfectionism crept in and I simply stopped. Hopefully I'm older and wiser now, and in my heart I just want to play, not think about what people think of my art. I love painting with oils and their gooey lusciousness, but don't like cleaning up afterwards. I struggle with watercolors and acrylics because they dry so fast, but I love how easily they clean up! 😂 I adore pottery, I feel like a child again playing with play dough, and when I get back from my next trip I want to find a class in my area. Again, excited to be here to encourage others and be encouraged. ♥️
