Sorry I have been absent lately.
I just want to let you all know that I will not be posting much in the next few weeks. I am trying to get things situated with my grandson going back to school and dealing with these Illinois storms I am not able to get into my computer. Also, as some of you know, I had cataract surgery with lens implants in April and May. It is not going as planned. I am not able to see clearly. My vision is the same if not worse than when I wore glasses. Everything is blurry. I have an eye appointment next week to see what they have to say. I will update when I can. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Aww! Take care! Skool is not important at the moment. The group will be ok. I feel you with the vision problems. I am dreading going to the optometrist because my vision is blurry in one eye and I have glaucoma on top of it. Ugh.
PNG, JPG, or PDF—Which One Should You Use? 🤔
Creating the design is only part of preparing a digital product. You also need to choose the correct file type for how the customer will use it. ✨ PNG – Best for graphics, shirt designs, stickers, cup wraps, and images that need a transparent background. ✨ JPG – Best for photographs, mockups, and images that do not need a transparent background. JPG files are usually smaller, but they can lose some quality when repeatedly saved. ✨ PDF – Best for printables, planners, worksheets, instructions, and files the customer needs to print without accidentally moving the design elements. Before saving your product, ask yourself: What will the customer be doing with this file? Choosing the right file type can make your product easier to use and help prevent confused customer messages later. Which file type do you use the most in your business? 💻

I use PNG for 90% of my listings. JPG for TV Art. PDF comes in when I have more than 5 files or the files are over the 20mb for Etsy.

@Melinda Hovis I'm sorry if I confused you. I use the pdf for the download link so that the customer gets their files from the cloud.
🍂✨ Weekly Prompt Challenge ✨🍂
It's time for another Weekly Prompt Challenge! As creators, we're already thinking ahead to Quarter 4, and this week's challenge combines a cozy autumn harvest with a bold faith-inspired design. I can't wait to see how each AI platform interprets this prompt! 🤎 This Week's Prompt: Create a bold, boutique-style fall faith t-shirt design featuring a beautifully detailed vintage Holy Bible wrapped in an elegant burnt-orange velvet ribbon with an oversized jeweled bow made of satin, lace, and subtle leopard print accents. Surround the Bible with overflowing pumpkins, rich burgundy mums, golden sunflowers, maple leaves, wheat stems, acorns, glowing lanterns, crystal stars, metallic gold foil, sparkling rhinestones, chunky glitter, and shimmering paint splashes. Make the phrase "IN EVERYTHING GIVE THANKS" the focal point in oversized luxury typography with glitter textures, metallic gold chrome outlines, embossed details, dazzling rhinestones, and dramatic 3D shadows. Include the Scripture reference 1 Thessalonians 5:18 beneath the main phrase in elegant coordinating typography. Use a rich autumn color palette of burnt orange, mustard yellow, cream, deep burgundy, olive green, chocolate brown, and antique gold. Create a high-end boutique aesthetic that is cozy, elegant, glamorous, and highly detailed. Center the design on a clean white background as a polished commercial t-shirt graphic. No mockup. No shirt. 🍁 Make It Your Own! Don't be afraid to get creative! ✨ Try a different Bible verse. ✨ Change the flowers or color palette. ✨ Add even more sparkle and bling. ✨ Swap the lantern for another cozy fall element. ✨ Put your own spin on the overall style. When you're finished, post your creation in the comments and let us know which AI platform you used. It's always fun to see how different AI tools interpret the exact same prompt! Happy prompting! 🍂🤎✨

Can We Talk About 300 DPI for a Minute? 😅
I have been working on getting my digital images ready for Etsy, and making sure they are truly 300 DPI in Canva has been a little confusing. Today I started using Affinity, and oh my goodness—it is so much easier! 🙌 I can clearly set the size, change the DPI to 300, and export the file without wondering whether I did it correctly. That alone has saved me so much frustration. For anyone creating printable designs, notebook covers, or other digital products, remember that the pixel dimensions are still very important. Changing the DPI number does not automatically improve a small or low-quality image—but Affinity makes it much easier to see and control the settings before exporting. Have you ever struggled with DPI in Canva? What program do you use to prepare your files for Etsy or any POD provider—Canva, Affinity, Photoshop, or something else? Let’s help each other in the comments! 💻✨

I use Canva for my designs. I make sure to upscale my images before going to Canva. I use an online dpi converter that only takes a teeny bit of time. I haven't had anyone complain about quality yet.

@Melinda Hovis 😯 Wait!!! Upscayl is charging now??? Are you going on their website? I use Upscayl but it's downloaded on my computer. I use it for free at anytime. When I first started, the dpi thing was annoying but I had to remember from my computer builder days and realize that the dpi is low because it's easier for files to be transported across the web. That's why you see 72 dpi, 96 dpi etc. on files when they are downloaded to your computer. For the dpi, I use HiCompress.com for free.

Is anyone else having arguments with Chatty? It is not giving me the information I need or creating images. Did know if it was just me as we are getting bad storms here in Illinois. Hope you all are staying safe from the heat and/or storms.

I love AI art. Thanks for asking. 📢 No sales pitches in my DM please. (It goes against some groups rules anyway! OK BYE!)
