I’m a new mommy in town, who’s on maternity leave. My newborn has feeding issues hence I’m looking to maximize my maternity leave. I’ve got 12 weeks of maternity leave from my company, which is almost gonna end in few weeks. I read that California state has additional leave other than 12 weeks. My HR knows only about our company policy which gives 12 weeks. The information online is very scattered. I want to know how to leverage and the process to apply for the additional maternity leave given by the state of California. If there is anyone here who knows about this. Please let me know.
