Traceability report
A Contracting Officer reached out to me this asking for a traceability report for a part. I reached out to the distributor of the part and they responded back to me saying they are unable to provide traceability because the manufacturer does not offer documentation on parts. How true is this? Why would a manufacturer not provide traceability?

@Floral Nelson interesting so if can’t get traceability I think it’s best to skip the contract and move on to next one better then taking risk right?

@Floral Nelson I mean I never ran into that issue but there should be a strict rule / law to release that info otherwise it’s very complicated because this just shows that the one who won the award is not at fault but the manufacturer is the one at fault.

Connections with COs?
Hi all @Day Cantave is there a way to make connections with COs directly? If anyone knows any COs please hook us up with them so we can introduce ourselves and make ourselves noticed maybe will get us h higher chances of winning bids. I’ve noticed majority of the time email and phone calls not working.

I got the exact same thing while I’m confused myself - I think and I could be wrong it’s asking to keep cybersecurity protocols based upon whichever cmmc we have like keeping the cybersecurity binders / documents in order and updated, anyone?
