Need to know. What’s your fave ‘mater, why, and how would you describe it? I’m lovin’ Paige’s descriptions. 😂😂 https://www.instagram.com/reel/DTWijfejoP2/?igsh=MXBtbXVzdnkzZzU0dg==

I was in Arkansas last year and they exploded. I'm back in Texas now so I'm tempering expectations. You have to really stay on top of tying them up and directing things. Mine went everywhere and were spilling out and breaking branches. They got huge. I had to spend time unraveling everything a bit. I think they really started taking off when I added mushroom mulch to the beds.

@Julie Vigil Yes, there are FB groups of mushroom growers who are giving away tons of spent bags. I throw em in the bed, chop em up, and cover them with mulch. Within a few weeks everything was doing better and I was even getting flushes of mushrooms still!

What’s one thing you’re dreaming about when it comes to growing or improving this season? It could be: • A plant you’ve never grown before • Healthier soil than last year • Bigger harvests (or fewer sad, dramatic plants) • Finally getting worms involved • Or just seeing something thrive instead of waving the white flag Drop it in the comments 👇Big goals, small wins, and “I just want it to live” plans are all welcome here. Let’s see what everyone’s dreaming about.

Figs, and dwarf everything.

@Dennis Wichter I've got a guy with 17 varieties. I'm going to look tomo and take some cuttings. And I meant dreaming of starting as many different types of dwarf fruit trees as I can find this year. My buddies mom just bought some pretty riverside property and we want to turn it into a paradise, so I've got carte blanche to play.
