Lifelong commitment by C.S. Lewis
“The Christian idea of marriage is based on Christ’s words that a man and wife are to be regarded as a single organism—for that is what the words ‘one flesh’ would be in modern English. And the Christians believe that when He said this He was not expressing a sentiment but stating a fact—just as one is stating a fact when one says that a lock and its key are one mechanism, or that a violin and a bow are one musical instrument.”

I strongly agree but that does not means that’s what I do all the time 🙈. Thanks for the reminder because when we do that, it does make a difference in overcoming our struggles

When I do share it, I feel more connected and safe. But I struggle with being vulnerable with anyone, and we still have to work a lot our communication, so we both can feel safe and supported all the time, when we decide to share something to each other
A good family rule
When one of us is in pain, the world stops and we all listen. If you’re in pain, you are the priority.

I think a little bit of everything. A month ago it was mostly anger, frustration, sadness and worry. But thank God, He started his works in us and we still have some of that but with joy and laughter in between. And He is showing where fear, resentment has been and is showing me how to really be present with my family.

Worry, frustration, anger, some joy and gratitude. Sometimes all mix together
