Trying to understand CKD stages—is it based only on creatinine levels, or are there other key factors involved? What stage might someone be in with a creatinine level of 2.2?

Hi everyone, I’m Dhananjay, based in Kolkata. I have been living with chronic kidney disease (CKD) for the past 6 years. At the time of diagnosis, my creatinine level was 2.4, and currently it is around 2.2. I follow a vegetarian diet and do not have diabetes. I have been informed that both of my kidneys are shrunken. I am here to gain better guidance on managing CKD, and understand how I can maintain or possibly improve my current condition—especially keeping my creatinine levels lower and preventing further progression. I would really appreciate any advice, shared experiences, or lifestyle tips that have helped others in a similar situation. Thank you, and I look forward to learning from everyone here.
