Insulin
So many people will say calories in vs calories out in which they're not wrong but its something they're missing. All foods dont trigger the same hormones with in the body a slice of bread isn't the same as broccoli, despite the calories being small. insulin is important because its the hormone that determines whether we burn fat or burn sugar. When insulin is low. We burn fat very easily when its high we're not burning fat we're burning sugar. One of the ways to prevent insulin from spiking so much is 1. Eat less frequently. 1 or 2 meals a day and space them apart. 2. Cut out eating so many carbs. Carbs trigger insulin very high especially when its ultra processed and refined. 3. Watch out for ingredients like maltodextrin, msg, sucralose and modified food starch.
