HELP ME, HELP YOU 👻
Right then… here we are… did not see this coming this time last year… So I was in me Skool community the other day, just having a nosy round like I do, and I noticed this thing I see literally every-fricken-where, in loadsa communities, not just mine. You've got all these people who've joined, right, actually joined, clicked the join button, answered some questions maybe, put their name down, said yes I want this, and then… nowt 𝗔 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝘁𝗶𝗹𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝘁 𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 They're there, technically, little grey clock dot next to their name saying they were online three days ago, but they're not actually THERE there (well, in ur space anyways maybe) Not posting, not commenting, not even sure if they're watching 𝗟𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗦𝗸𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗴𝗵𝗼𝘀𝘁𝘀 👻 Now this is the bit that gets me totes curious, why the ef does that happen? Like people don't join a community and then just decide "nah I'll just lurk forever" on purpose, that's not usually a conscious choice. It's normally something in the setup itself, something about how it felt the first time they showed up, or how scary the "first post" bit feels, eeekkk, or sometimes it's as daft as there being no clear "oh THIS is what I'm meant to do in here" moment right at the start, so they just… quietly opt out of participating and nobody notices til the whole place feels a bit, well, let's say dead… Anyways. Where was I going with this. Oh yeah… lol. Back on track Mimi. So I've decided, given everything I've got going on right now, which if you've seen me posts u already know is a lot, ha, I'm gonna open up 5 spots this week to actually go into people's communities and have a proper good look around Not just a "oh yeah looks fine" woop n off I pop, I mean an actual proper AF nosy, Facebook Group, Skool Community, whatever you've got, and record you a Loom video walking through exactly what I'm seeing, plus an action sheet after, so you're not just sat there going "cool story, thanks Mimi" and then doing naff all with it, you'll have actual things to go and implement…

@Mimi Ramsey I think part of this is how fast, in terms of behavioural stuff, you can reinforce interaction by getting someone to level 2. If they make a single comment, you should be able to get enough people to like it to get them to level 2. The more interaction they have, the more likely they are to get to level 2. Hence, I'm at level 1 in this community at this point, but this is my third comment, so that should be resolved fairly soon. We did have somebody in my community come in and become very engaged and, on day 1, get to level 5, but that's obviously incredibly rare.
