Paperwork for Lockouts
Hey guys, Was wondering on a lockout, when arriving how do you normally validate that the person you're helping to gain access is legally the owner or person in charge of the vehicle? Is there a boiler plate short contract they sign off on? How do operate in this situation? Thanks in advance.

It varies from state to state But I write all this on the receipt from California Check there drivers license and registration DL: Make: Model: Year: Color: Vin: Plate: Key code: PIN code:

You typically ask for drivers license and registration over the phone. If they don’t have it they’ll give you a story why they don’t have it and whether true or not I’m not doing it.

Generic fob programming
Do I need a DV900 to program generic fobs, or can I do it using the Autel IM508s with the x200 programmer?

@Tom Taylor his words it mows everything down. It’s by xtool there good. You will need more than 1 programmer but that is a good starting point.
