Grow your NETWORK in 30 days!
Building a high-value network in 30 days is less about "collecting" people and more about strategic positioning. To move the needle quickly, you need to transition from a passive observer to an active connector. Here is a 30-day framework to accelerate your professional circle: Phase 1: The Foundation (Days 1–7) The first week is about identifying where your "room" is and ensuring your digital presence matches your goals. - Audit Your Assets: Clean up your LinkedIn and professional profiles. Ensure your bio clearly states the specific problem you solve or the value you bring. - Identify 30 Targets: Create a "Dream 30" list—10 peers at your level, 10 mentors/leaders, and 10 connectors in adjacent industries. - The "Lurk & Learn": Follow your targets and engage with their content via thoughtful comments (not just "great post") to get on their radar before reaching out. Phase 2: The Value-First Outreach (Days 8–21) This is the execution phase. The goal is to initiate 1–2 high-quality conversations daily. - The "Standard" Reach-Out: Send personalized notes. Instead of asking for a "coffee chat" (which costs them time), offer a specific observation about their work or a resource that might help them. - Leverage Digital Communities: Join 2–3 niche groups (Skool, Slack, or LinkedIn) where your targets hang out. Aim to answer at least three questions a week to establish authority. - Bridge the Gap: If you meet someone interesting, ask: "Who is one person you think I should know?"This creates a warm intro for your next connection. Phase 3: Consolidation & Authority (Days 22–30) By the final week, move from one-on-one interactions to one-to-many. - Host a Micro-Event: Organize a low-stakes Zoom "roundtable" or a local meetup for 4–5 people on a specific topic. Being the host automatically increases your perceived value. - Document the Journey: Share 1–2 posts about what you’ve learned during this 30-day sprint. Publicly tagging or thanking people you’ve met reinforces those new bonds. - The CRM Habit: Move your new contacts into a simple spreadsheet or CRM. Set a reminder to check in with everyone once a quarter so the connection doesn’t go cold.

@Lashanika Cooper-Paparoa I agree! People tend to see what’s popular and jump in but often people wait until the hot period is over and it is already in the cooling off period and are lost in the crowd. Analyze briefly. And jump in. Pay attention to what works. And what isn’t achieving results. Stick to what brings retention. And be heavy on your approach. A newborn baby will learn to walk, talk, socialize in its first year of life. As adults we lose that ability somehow. Is it because we don’t have some one pushing it into our daily routine of learning and creating it as normal habit? In your niche. Write down your goals. Now with each, analyze and focus on what you need to achieve both. And work through them in steps. When I was an MMA fighter I went through steps. Broke down each discipline I wanted to focus on. And designated time to each. Then I realized I need sponsors. I approached companies that were involved in that community. And I contacted each and everyone I could find. Knowing most would say no. However, some said yes. And I became one of the first amateur fighters aligned with companies that were mostly promoting UFC signed professional fighters. This allowed me to progress and travel to train with bigger gyms and thus helped me progress to a higher level of competition. As I achieved this goal. It then became a focus of the next. If you break it down to steps. And importance. It will help the achieving and success level become far more attainable. And easy. Everything. Everyday. Should be a structured schedule.
I’m excited to officially be part of this amazing community! 🎉

Those Excuses
You’re not lacking time. You are lacking structure. You aren’t tired because you’re doing too much. You’re tired because your life has no CLEAR rhythm. Scrolling feels like rest. Overworking feels like progress. Both lead to the same place — Burnout. The truth? Freedom does not come from doing whatever you want. It comes from a structure you can trust. Just like the gym. You have warm up sets. You have working sets. You track and write down your gym routine and sets. But won’t for your day to day life? At minimum you have 6 full hours to do whatever you choose. This is outside your job. This is outside family. This is outside the non negotiable. Stop making excuses. Stop being a bitch. Stop making it okay to do it tomorrow! Just fucking stop. And realize tomorrow. Is now six months later. I can tell the moment people speak who has it. And who doesn’t. #focus #goals #follow #skool #thestandard

Those Excuses
THE CURSE OF THE COMFORTABLE MIND 🗣️🚫
This is the exact conversation that separates the spectators from the players. Most people are more afraid of a "judging" comment from someone they don't even like than they are of living a mediocre life. Let’s talk about the one thing holding most of you back from the life you actually want: Fear. Not the fear of failing—the fear of being seen trying. You’re worried about what people will say. You’re worried about the "talk" in the gym or the whispers from people you haven’t spoken to in five years. But here’s the reality you need to swallow: 1. Strangers vs. Success Why do you care what a stranger thinks? Strangers don’t pay your bills. Strangers don't put muscle on your frame. Strangers don't build your legacy. 2. The Friendship Paradox Understand this: Clients will become friends long before your "friends" become clients. The people truly in your corner will celebrate your evolution. The ones who talk? They’re just projecting their own fear because your growth highlights their stagnation. 3. Stop Negotiating Weak minds are terrified of strong ideas. Every time you say "I'll start Monday" or "I'm not ready for that responsibility," you are being a bitch to your inner self. You are negotiating with a loser. Stop. Negotiating. Set the goal. Make it matter. Own the responsibility that comes with winning. Because at the end of the day, what’s the worst that can happen? You fail? Good. You learn, you reset, and you go again. But staying exactly where you are? That should be your biggest fear. THE ACADEMY CHALLENGE: Drop a comment below. What is the one goal you’ve been "sleeping on" because you’re afraid of the noise? Identify it. Name it. Kill it. 👇 #TheStandard #NoNegotiation #SuccessResponsibility #TheStandardAcademy

@Waylon Thorn I’d say just write down your usual schedule. Where you devote your minutes and time to. Obviously work is priority. Family. What is your passenger time like? Even 4 days at 30-45 minutes can create the habit and it becoming your normal routine. Focus on the habit and routine rather than focusing on “ I need to go to the gym “ but I’d write down your usual day. And create a slot of where you can commit to the time. And how it won’t affect your other committed time slots.
