Traveling to NYC this weekend to visit my daughter. And here on the plane, I'm thinking about two coaching calls I had this week, a private session and yesterday's Hot Seat here in the community. This is a learning experience for me as well, and has me excited to create courses I can share with all of you... detailing everything I've learned in my last 25+ years of living as a creative -- through the generation of ideas, rough drafts, rewrites, down to the finished product, and working with producers go get a film made. I’ve spent thirty years writing movies — everything from talking babies to ogres in love — and I still ask the same question: Why do some stories stay with us? Not just make us laugh or cry — but haunt us, years later. Over the next five weeks inside The Writer’s Forge, we’re going to dig into that. What makes a story unforgettable?
