😭Learn from my terrible mistake that just happened while upgrading to a ChatGPT business account
Please see an update for me this morning in the comments. This disaster is going to make me a much better founder. I got up at 3:45 AM today to begin rebuilding my company. Original post follows: I’m standing here writing this in tears, and I want to give a very sobering warning to anyone who is considering upgrading from ChatGPT plus to a business Team’s account on ChatGPT. There is a a glitch that was unknown to me before I started this process, but is apparently well known in the open AI developer community that all of your data is deleted when you migrate it and you can’t get it back. Everything I’ve been building for months is just …. Gone. Other than what I had saved and backed up in my personal files, my entire ChatGPT history has been zeroed out, and it really hurts because this was like my external brain for both home and my business that I’m building. Open AI acknowledged that their company documentation failed to include a warning that all of my personal data would be deleted and everything that I have been working on since day one in my accounts has been deleted, and there’s nothing I can do to get it back even though I followed their exact instructions on merging my personal and business accounts, to the letter. I just paid $618 to upgrade my account to two seats on a business plan and merged the data from my personal account to my business plan. Within a minute or two of that transaction going through as I was following the step-by-step worksheet that ChatGPT itself printed out for me. My accounts froze, and I had to log out. I logged back in everything was blank. When I used my previous emails that I had my accounts tied to to log back in ChatGPT opened free tier accounts using my business email that I just paid $618 to open my business account on. I’ve escalated this to ChatGPT Support and they were extremely unhelpful. Basically they said sorry it’s a known issue and there’s nothing we can do. I was planning on shipping a product today using the ChatGPT business plan because it offers a secure link so that I’m not sending out raw proprietary JSON code.

Overwhelmed Mom Life Audit Prompt
Hey friends. I've been playing around with this and thought I would share this prompt for you to try out. It could probably work for more than just overwhelmed moms; that was just how I was framing things. Disclaimer: I am brand new to prompt creation on this level, so no guarantees. The "Overwhelmed Mom" Life Audit Prompt Copy and paste the text below into an AI assistant (like ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini) to get a personalized Life Operating System. Fill in the [bracketed] information with your specific details. PROMPT STARTS HERE I need you to act as my expert Productivity Guru and Life Coach. I am an overwhelmed mom trying to balance running a household, [working/other major responsibility], and maintaining my own well-being without burning out. I need a realistic, sustainable Life Operating System. Not just a rigid schedule that breaks the first time a kid gets sick, but a flexible routine that helps me focus on what matters, tames the chaos, and ensures I don't lose myself in the process. Use principles from "Atomic Habits" (habit stacking), "Getting Things Done" (brain dumping/capturing), and "The 7 Habits" (prioritizing big rocks first). Here are my details. Please analyze them, ask me clarifying questions to find my blind spots, and then help me build a routine I can actually stick to. 1. My "Big Rocks" (Non-Negotiables) These are the things that MUST happen for me to feel like a human and for my family to be okay. - [e.g., Sleep 7 hours, Daily Prayer/Meditation, Feeding the kids, School drop-off at 8 AM] - ... 2. My Daily Load Things I try to do every single day. - Self-Care: [e.g., Shower, get dressed, 30 min exercise] - Household: [e.g., Dishes, one load of laundry, tidy living room before bed] - Relational: [e.g., Read to toddler, 15 mins connecting with husband] - Work/Other: [e.g., Check emails for 20 mins] 3. My Weekly Rhythms Things that happen once or a few times a week. - Work Hours: [e.g., Mon/Wed/Fri from 9am-2pm] - Fixed Events: [e.g., Church on Sunday 10am, Soccer practice Tue/Thu 4pm] - Chores to Distribute: [e.g., Groceries, deep cleaning bathrooms, mowing lawn, paying bills]

Advent reflections app in 4 languages built in 1.5h :)
My family asked me to create an app which will give them short daily reflections for Advent. So I opened Lovable and built Lumen Adventus. It's an Advent calendar with "candles" to light every day - short reflections and meditations, Act of Kindness for the day, a quote. It took me literally 1.5h from the idea to this version, and most of that was just the system "thinking". It's very simple, because I had no time so I followed Lovable's templates - it does all of the work for you, you just need to divide it into logical steps. It's in 4 languages (English, Spanish, French, Polish) because my family are all over the world. It's all free, unrelated to any business, just for practice, and only for 1-24 December. It's my second vibe-coded app. The texts were Ai generated, in the future I will customise them but I used only AI to see what it comes up with. I'd be happy to share it with you and answer any questions about building it but I assume the admins would not allow it and would delete the post. So, I'm only showing you a screen shot, and only one piece of advice - just have fun as a creator, learn by playing :)

How awesome! I love what you've done here.😎 This would be a great tool for my teens who have busy schedules. Maybe a way to bring a little unity back to our Advent. Right now I've just been doing our reflections with whoever is home at the time. And some of them are using Hallow's Pray 25 on their own.
Help for teens trying to figure out what they might want to do.
I have some kids in my homeschool co-op who are struggling to figure out what they might want to get into as they graduate. I brought up the idea of building a prompt that could work as the ultimate guidance counselor and help them figure out careers ideally suited to their talents/gifts, personalities, and goals. @Michael Cooney Want to collaborate?

@Amirthan Puvaneswaran why do you suggest this? Also I'm a bit of a newbie and don't know how to make a custom GPT. How does that work?

@Roman Mbaka honestly, I feel like the majority of the teens I talk to are just plain overwhelmed. Things in our modern society are changing so fast. On top of which, a lot of the education they get, whether public, private or homeschool, just doesn't keep up with the real world. They've all got plenty of book smarts, but very little real world, what it takes to survive, experience. Even the ones who are gung-ho and ready to get out there tend to get overwhelmed at the very start. Take for instance the kids who want to be entrepreneurs, they have great ideas, but learning how to open a business and wading through all of the bureaucracy is overwhelming. And there's often no one teaching them those skills. Even doing something like getting into the trades is staggeringly complicated these days. When my dad first started out home building, he learned a few things from his dad and brothers-in-law, and just started doing it. I think eventually he had to take some sort of test that he studied for. But that was it. Meanwhile my 18-year-old has been trying to get into the trades and not only is there no one that will teach him (he has learned a few things from my dad), but the level of hoops that he is having to jump through are overwhelming. He's had several companies tell him that anything he's learned from our local trade school is completely worthless. He finally got an internship only to find out that any training he has there will only be good for our state. Not to mention most of the apprenticeship has been meaningless grunt work that's not teaching him the actual skills he needs. When he went to look at the local union so that he could get national certification the waiting list is so long that it could be years before he's able to make headway. It's very frustrating to young people to be met with so much opposition and needless complexity. My kiddos who are in University are facing similar challenges in that by the time they get their degree it might not mean very much because of the rapid changes taking place. So most kids are overwhelmed, not even knowing where to look or what will be stable.

@Jennifer Quillin it's where you tell an AI, like Replit, what you want to build and it writes the code for you.

@Jennifer Quillin Vibe coding is more about being able to create apps that can help you do things. Your digital double would likely be built elsewhere, like ChatGPT. Just to make sure it's clear.
