Q for those that use Midjourney...
For those of you using Midjourney to create the images for your products - are you paying for one of the higher plans to get "stealth" mode? If not, are you worried about others "stealing" your prompts/ideas? I've tried out a LOT of other AI tools, but Midjourney does seem to give me the best results for my use. Its just that I can't really afford the Pro plan while my store isn't really making $$$. But I also don't like the idea that anyone has access to anything I create, and feel all the time and effort I put into creating unique designs would be a bit of a waste. Would love to hear what others do/think about this.

@Donna Miller A lot of things in MJ are a bit inconvenient, especially with Discord. I really will have to give their website a try!

@Priscilla Rodriguez I don't really like the quality of MJ's upscales anyway! 😁 And I have Topaz Gigapixel too.
UPSCALING IMAGES... SAY WHAT??? 😄😄
Hello All. Just wondering about all the parameters and features and software mentioned for upscaling images, in particular for me from MJ. I found a website that can convert and upscale PNGs. It's been talked often here about 300dpi creating the best images, however I'm not sure I understand if it's the same thing that this website can upscale my image to 4096 x 4096 x 8 magnification. The image still does not produce the best clear lines for a geometic pattern, however I wonder whether this is what the customer would see, or if I am being too picky about quality. I am quite lost with all the AI softwares, upscaling, cleaning designs and preparing to 300dpi for digital images on etsy. Thanks if you've read this far. 😁😂

Upscaling is not the same as converting to 300dpi. You need to do both for any images that will be used for print. I use Gigapixel for upscaling, and another free tool (called "ImBatch" to batch convert all the images to 300dpi and resize to the specific images sizes. As for the quality of upscales - I was worried about that too! So I did some "research", by buying some of the bestsellers in my niche. These were all listings that had LOTS of 5 star reviews, and the quality wasn't any better - and in some cases was much worse - than what I was getting out of my upscaler (Gigapixel). So it was pretty obvious that most buyers aren't anywhere near as fussy as us! 😁
How do y'all upscale your images?
Hey everyone, I hope you're having a great day wherever you are! I have a question. Since I'm finishing my subscription with Kittl on Nov 23, I was wondering how you guys upscale your images and make them 300dpi. For me, until now it worked like this - if the image was good off the bat, I upscaled it in Kittl and had created the artboard at 300dpi, so I did it all there. If I had to fix it, I took it to Canva or Photoshop, then I came back and upscaled it again in Kittl. Now I have MyDesigns but I did upscale a couple of images and their dpi ended up being 96, not 300, which was probably something I did wrong - once I used the image in the Canvas system and saved and upscaled it from there, it ended up being 300dpi 🫠. I just don't know, MyDesigns' upscaler is probably good enough, but I also don't wanna stress about potentially receiving bad reviews because of the stupid resolution. How do you guys go about things when it comes to 300dpi and upscaling? Do you use another program, do you use a free one? Please help a girl out! 🙏🏻

@Cristina V That's a very good question, and one I hadn't considered before using Krea! This was from their Terms of Use: "Anything you post, upload, share, store, or otherwise provide or generate through the Services is your 'User Submission'. Depending on your subscription tier, you may have the option to make your User Submissions private, which means they will not be visible to other users. If your subscription tier does not include the private mode feature, some of your User Submissions may be viewable by other users." According to the moderator on their Discord channel: "By default, your generations are private. They won’t be visible to other users unless you choose to upload them to a public gallery" As a paid user (I'm on the basic plan), I have the option to "publish" an image or video I have *created* with Krea, but not for one which I've *enhanced* (ie upscaled). So it would seem they only make public actual generations, not upscales. Of course, with their terms of use, there's nothing to prevent them from changing this at any time! So if you're just looking to test it out, maybe best to use an image you aren't planning to sell 😊

@Cristina V Oh, and in case you do still want to try Krea, I've found (after lots of experimentation) the best settings for the upscales are: Preset: "Digital art" Colour match enabled Strength: 70 Resemblance: 70 Clarity: 0.05 (sometimes 0.07, but don't go any higher or the result will be too heavy on the details) If this changes the image too much, turn down the strength and turn up the resemblance a bit.
Anyone here using NightCafe?
I was just wondering if anyone else is using NightCafe AI?

@Donna Miller Yes, that's exactly how I use the open prompts - for inspiration when I'm stuck! And the free credits are nice, but I usually burn through them pretty darn quick 😉

@Donna Miller That's pretty much my workflow too. Test out prompts with the free models, and switch to the paid ones if the free ones aren't giving me want I want. Do you have any favourite models? I am loving Flux and Flux Schnell! I haven't had much luck with the AI animations in Nightcafe. I prefer other platforms for that (Krea and Minimax are my fave AI video gnerators ATM).

This looks great, but I'm confused. In the walk through pricing video Bailey said that the price of the *Design Club* is not changing (at least for now), and that it was only the price of the *AI Digital Product Sales* which is going up on the 1 Nov (and which is why I joined it!). Can anyone confirm? I don't want to miss out on the lower price for the Design Club, if it is indeed increasing too!!! Thanks!!!
