A new Latvian-mitten inspired colourwork sweater pattern 🤩
The Pasaka Sweater is the second design in my Tribute to Latvian Mittens collection. The name means "fairy tale" in Latvian, inspired by a traditional mitten that reminds me of a snow flake so perfect it could only exist in a fairy tale. ā„ļø The construction is a top-down round yoke and the stranded colourwork has some longer floats in places, which should be caught using the Ladderback Jacquard method. The pattern includes videos, as well as charts with suggested ladder placements. There's also a full construction deep dive on YouTube if you want to see me go in more detail. You can use code PASAKA at checkout on Ravelry or Etsy for 20% off, valid until 22nd March, end of day UK time. Newsletter subscribers, if you haven't already seen it, last Wednesday's newsletter will have your exclusive code. P.S. Discounts cannot be applied after the transaction has been completed.

@Tatiana Pohankova thank you - I saw it in a reel and couldn’t find it again! It is going to be my Christmas sweater for this year 😁
Sleeves too big - back to start :-(
I just tried it on - after clue3 and half through clue4 sleeves. And its way to big :-( looks like a balloon sleeve.. I need to frog back to at least and of clue3 add another decrease and execute the color B parts with a smaller needle. I'm ao frustrated - the progress is already so slow and now it pushes me back even more.

Mine looked like that - and it looks fine - I increased my decreases to every 6 rows (instead of 8) I am pleased with the way it looks.

I live in Whitefish, Montana! I have been knitting for 50 years My stash is giant and mostly useless as I never have color/weight/quantity needed
