Self care is so important so that you can pour into others. Sending you positive energy and love for your commitment to being a caregiver to your parent. Here is a list that could help. Exercise, Breath work, Meditation, prayer/ devotion, and incorporating positive affirmations can be a great way to begin your day. Add one per week or rotate daily. Plus get a good nights sleep and hydrate morning, noon, and night. Take supplements to help with energy. B12 or multivitamins. Exercise- stretching, yoga, walking- so many exercises on you tube for free if you cannot leave the house. I include a daily practice of grounding- aka standing in nature- in my back yard- weather permitting. I also bought a grounding mat for my bed to support longevity and improved sleep. {research benefits of having a grounding mat) I would create a spiritual practice to include meditation ( using insight timer- free or paid version) that provides specific topics to help you channel your energy. And build practices to remain calm. (Prayer and devotion is amazing if you have a specific religion) I use the Bible app for daily devotion and study. I would also recommend finding and using affirmations for positive thinking and personal encouragement. ( there are many on you tube) specific to strength, resilience and positive thinking. Creating a morning journaling practice can help release any thoughts that contribute to fear, stress or anxiety. If you need help finding additional resources please do not hesitate to ask.
