Shift commitment - Anti-perfectionist style
I've been on a anti-perfectionist diet for a month or two now, and it works really well for me! I've realised that any time I set specific goals, I become rigid, my motivation becomes more and more extrinsic, and I slowly but surely get less and less inclined to reach my movement goals. So I've tried the opposite: not tracking anything, not reaching any goals. Just moving. Just listening to my body. Just feeling the pleasure of having fun, and feeling energized (been focusing on yoga, walking and cycling)... And I'm more active than now than I've been in the last year! 🎉 Summer is probably helping too! 🌞 So... it might not be for everyone, it might not be my long term way of doing things... But it works now, and that's what matters. I'm building momentum, and without even trying hard, I see changes in my body/mood/energy levels. Cheers to all you (non)perfectionists out there!

@Mélanie DesChâtelets Thank you for your super kind answer - and shout-out in your post, it touched me! I will def explore the growth/fixed mindset, it seems like a great reflexion to explore. Before joining the community I was really stuck in the all or nothing mindset, but looking back I think I improved on that front. 🫶

🧠 Reflection Last week I kinda set the good, better, best goals of bringing more levity and humor. And I've definitely been further along in the book and have been really enjoying it. Haven't quite created my playlist yet of comedy things. But honestly, I'm gonna keep the same goal for the whole month of June. It's gonna be all about the laughs. All about the laughs. 🌿 My Learning Humor in small bites is what I need at this stage of life right now. ✅ Good / Better / Best Goals Good: continue reading my book Better: humor in small bites... little clips of SNL, that kind of thing. More new, and actually more fun. Best: create my comedy playlist (the comedy specials I love are a bit of a time commitment) 🎯 Intentions for This Week → Keep reading the book → Find the laughs in small bites → Let June be all about levity

Saturday check-in: which one are you?
☕ Morning coffee first, everything else second OR 🍵 Herbal tea and I've made peace with that

Happy Thursday... let's hear your wins 🎉
It's Thursday and I want to hear what's going right. Wins don't have to be big. They don't have to be health-related. They just have to be real. Slept okay, tried something new, finally understood a lab result you've been staring at for months... all of it counts. 👇 Drop your win in the comments, big or small. Let's go.

Feeling more connected to my body this week. Trying to reinforce the idea that change comes from presence first 💜
