I haven’t smelt it yet , I had all holes tapped up completely with black tape. Yesterday I removed the tape and put two layers of micro pore tape over each hole introducing Fresh air exchange and moved it from a dark environment to an indirect sunlit room . I never cracked the lid to have a peak or smell test. This plate on the top right hand corner was the agar plate I used . I’ve never experience mycelium growth like this before . I was thinking maybe it’s a characteristic of the particular strain

What depth substrate you run Dave typically ? And what size holes on the mono tub ? I’m still playing around with the substrate depths

Another question when you pick all the mature mushroom during flushes , should you also clear the rest of the substrate surface like all the other little pins etc ? I lost one tub earlier thinking they would mature into mushrooms but instead they never grew and went mouldy
