@Deanna Greyoak thank you
What part of the world are you here from?
If you’re open to it I’d love to hear what your family looks like too?

Day 2- 21 Day challenge
Physical - pulled up old flooring and put into trash Cognitive thought about the air quality and dust flying around, realized I would need to put cats in a different area so I could keep the windows open and bring their littler box down Emotional- respond calmly when our child really struggled upon me flushing the toilet rather than them, and being kind and compassionate in that moment.

Physical- took my 3 year old with me on errands and had now coin for a trolley. Had to carry all shopping and navigate store. Cognitive- took ownership of cooking for the week and planned meals/ checked cupboards for what is missing Emotional- had long talk with my partner regarding what we want for the future and how working on ourselves will benefit everyone in both positive and negative ways
How far into the Fair Play Method Are you?
Hearing for first time? Have the book, gathering dust? Started, stopped Read a fair amount, haven’t implemented cards Had 1 talk with cards, and never revisited? Revisiting consistently

I have bought the book and started reading it. My wife said that she had mentioned this book in the past and I hadn’t shown interest. I am hoping that it is something we can work through together
Introduction
👋 Hi, I’m David! I live in Buxton, UK. I am nervous but hopeful to join this community and better understand my partner’s mental load. I want to get these 3 things from the community: 1.  Tools to increase my mental load and acknowledge my partners mental load 2.  Increase my compassion and empathy for my partner 3. Become a better listener and equal in my relationship Some things that my partner fell in love with me for: 1.  Being steadfast and supportive 2.  Our joint sense of humor 3.  My confidence in our future (this has dwindled severely and she no longer trusts me and feels like I am coasting. I want to regain my confidence and set myself new life goals)
