Cold Calling 101: Set the RIGHT Goals
When you’re new to cold calling, your first instinct might be: “I just need to book appointments!” WRONG. Cold calling is a skill—and like any skill, you need to build it step by step. If you focus only on closing deals from day one, you’ll burn out fast. Instead, level up in stages: 1️⃣ First, get past the gatekeeper. If you can’t consistently reach the decision-maker, nothing else matters. Master this first. 2️⃣ Then, learn to hook the owner. Once you’re talking to the right person, your next goal is keeping them on the phone. Nail your opening! 3️⃣ Next, refine your pitch. Now that you can hold their attention, focus on delivering a compelling value prop. 4️⃣ Finally, handle objections like a pro. Rejections are inevitable—your job is to turn them into conversations, not roadblocks. The appointments will come, but only if you build a strong foundation first. Where are you in this process right now? Drop your stage below...
WhatsApp Cold Calling Roleplay Group 💪
I’ve set up a WhatsApp group for cold calling roleplay, and we’ve already got a few people in! The goal is simple: practice, improve, and give each other feedback. Whenever you’re up for a session, just drop a message in the group and find a partner to train with. If you want in, just comment on this post or shoot me a DM!

Want to get better at cold calling? Start by reviewing the right calls.
We all have those days when we’re on fire—every call flows effortlessly, objections get handled smoothly, and setting appointments feels almost too easy. Those are the calls you NEED to study. Record them, rewatch them, and analyze every move you made. What was your tone? Your pacing? The questions you asked? Take notes and refine your approach into a repeatable formula. Learn what made those calls great, and you’ll start having more of those "hot" days. What do you think guys?
