Very clean, great quality posters. The travel poster market seems to be very competitive and I guess it will take time and a smidgeon of luck to work your way up the rankings as there are so many competitors trying to be seen and only so many spaces on the first few pages of the search.

Wow... Midjourney, am I right?
So, I have subscribed to the Basic level for $10... Writing the prompts is an skill that I will need to work on eh, ha ha 🤣 I asked chat GPT to write me one and what came out was nothing like I was expecting so I am guessing that I might use up a chunk of my 'Fast Time' making mistake after mistake, duh. Talk about range anxiety, tell me about it, the minutes seem to get eaten up quicker than a quick thing. It doesn't help when I don't really have my genre picked out let alone my niches identified. Was everyone this indecisive when they started out or did you have it all pretty much mapped out?

@Mat S Thank you, I was just mindful of plagiarising someone else's work and have been trying to create my own from scratch. However, in order to teach myself the basics I might have to use the framework of an existing design and then flesh it out in my own way.

I am still very much in the research stage of my Etsy POD adventure and am finding Tom's video's extremely positive and inspiring. His enthusiasm is infectious isn't it? This forum is also helping to reinforce the feeling that this is worth investing some time and resource into. The single most enjoyable and interesting thing I have found during my research phase has been following the links from some of you guys to your own physical Etsy stores both new and established. So for anyone who is comfortable enough to share, then please leave a link here as I think that newbies like me can learn a lot from genuine peers. Thank you in advance to any and all contributors...

@Geoff Nugent Yes, that's pretty much what I thought. I do earn my living from online sales at the moment even though I'm semi-retired now. This was always meant to be supplemental income rather than a get rich quick kinda deal.

@Nik Coleman Thank you for your contribution and you have not hijacked anything. I was hoping that the thread would attract allcomers and therefore take on a life of its own. With any luck it will open up my mind to what might be possible in the world of poster production. For what it's worth I personally like the direction you have taken with the cocktail theme.

Hey guys. Just posting this milestone for me as it’s something I would’ve liked to have seen when starting out. Only 2 and a bit months in and seeing great momentum building now, and one month away from Star Seller badge being achieved which should really boost my conversion too. For those starting out, stick with it - if you genuinely trust in your listing quality and choice of niches and you think they should be doing well then the chances are they will do, just give it time! Excited for Q4 to fully kick in, let’s cook 👨🍳

Advice Needed
Hi y’all. Need a bit of advice on my Etsy shop. It’s been open for just over a month, however I ended up taking down my first 50 listings due to not being happy with them. I have literally no proof of this whatsoever but my experience of selling on platforms like Etsy, eBay, Amazon, Not on the High St etc. has suggested to me that sales beget more sales. A snowball effect if you will. Etsy show a poster to a potential buyer and if that buyer buys then they will show the same poster to 10 more potential buyers using the same search term. If one of them then buys, the poster gets classed as 'hot' and is shown to hundreds of potential buyers and the cycle goes on. However, a bit of luck is needed at each step along the way. More luck than skill at the start of the cycle when the numbers of potential buyers are low but once the snowball starts rolling it gets easier.
