Compliance Question
@Jason Goldberg asked a good question! I asked permission if I could share it here as I am sure a lot more peeps in the supplement space have very similar questions. "I have a Claud.ai conversation programmed with all of our product info as well clinical studies and a focus on being medically accurate in replies that I use for my customer service inquiries.Even though I try my best to keep that as compliant as possible (and I always add the disclaimer to everything that I am not a doctor and this is not medical advice and to always consult your doctor before adding supplements to your regimen), and I don’t make any big claims or talk about the healing them or anything, when I went to get general liability insurance recently, they said that what I am saying COULD be viewed as medical advice so if anyone ever comes back and says that my advice caused them to get hurt, I could sue.The insurance I’ve found to cover that is massively cost prohibitive (like 25k+ per year with a $25k deductible) so I’m wondering if you have any insight you could share on what small brands like me do when we can’t afford to have a chief science officer or doctor on-staff but still want to give insights to people who ask questions about their particular situations." I posted my reply in the comments. Please share your experience as well!

Here is my take on all this. I went to law school ( quit because they are really a scummy bunch in general) and I learned during the first semester that anyone can sue for any reason and that there are a ton of ambulance chasers looking for clients. So the two things that I recommend are: If you say things about what a product does, along with limiting your wording to "may help support" rather than "will support" you are better off and the other item is when doing blogs, you tubes or other things, try to be personal "which actually works better that a sanitized website" but then also, to limit liability, you can say,......" I have found that it helped in " yada yada yada, for me personally and it may be good for you also. The thing is you have to think like a lawyer looking for "gotcha" words. People do a lot of their own research and then go with either a personality (including a site that gives lot's of "helpful" info) or price or formula that they heard is good. Don't get into the lab and medical proof sink hole, is my opinion. I don't think an AI answering machine is ever safe.

From Struggling to $5K/Day — All Without Ads
My store used to survive on paid ads. It was exhausting—and expensive. Then I got serious about SEO. I focused on the right keywords, cleaned up my website, and let Google do its thing. Now I wake up to $5,000 days, without spending a cent on ads. It didn’t happen overnight—but it happened. I thought sharing it with people here would be a great idea. Sometimes, the quiet strategies bring the loudest results.
