Not actually my first time here, but since its my first post lets just pretend. 😅 Well i found this amazing community thanks to one of @Patrick Spiegel YouTube videos (shoutout to him!) and here I am finally joining the conversation instead of simply being a stalker. So, about me: My love story with website development started back in 2014 during my long high school vacation. Honestly I was just bored but little did I know that boredom would turn into a career! My first "hack" was revealing my brothers Facebook password by inspecting the password element on the browser. 😂 That moment felt like I had uncovered the secrets of the universe. My brother didn’t think it was funny but I sure did! Fast forward to 2018, I got my first client and earned $380. That felt like winning the lottery back then especially in India where the average salary was around $100. From there,I kept experimenting , building websites and consulting for small businesses in my college days. In 2020, COVID turned my side hustle into a fulltime gig. By 2023, I was feeling bold (maybe too bold) and decided to start my own agency, Appvent. My first big project was with Ribbons and Balloons, India’s largest bakery chain, for $5,000. I was so excited! But, plot twist: internal office politics got in the way, and I lost the project. That heartbreak felt worse than being ghosted by a crush! 💔 Thankfully, I bounced back. My next client was in the pharmaceutical industry, and I landed a $10,588 project. This time, I made sure not to let any middlemen mess things up. From there, things picked up, and I didn’t look back. But in 2024, things slowed down, and I realized I needed to step up my game. So here I am, ready to learn, laugh, and grow with all of you. Let’s make magic happen! Can’t wait to hear from you guys. If nothing else, at least tell me my brother’s Facebook password story wasn’t entirely useless. 😂
