Positioning + Messaging Clarity Prompt for [INSERT YOUR TITLE HERE] I want you to act as a high-level business development strategist and positioning expert. Your goal is to help me refine how I communicate directly with prospects (not connectors) so that my message is: - Clear - Specific - Easy to repeat - Immediately recognizable to my ideal client - Aligned with how I naturally speak (so it actually sticks) Context About Me I work with [founders/CEOs/leadership teams at a stage where: - symptoms of deeper issues] My goal is to help them: - [Outcomes you bring] Important Constraints - Do NOT make this sound generic or like typical coaching language - Avoid vague phrases like “unlock potential,” “optimize performance,” etc. - Use language that a CEO would actually say out loud - Keep it grounded, direct, and practical - Prioritize clarity over cleverness Step 1: Refine My Core Message Take my current messaging (I will provide it) and: - Simplify it - Remove unnecessary explanation - Make the problem instantly recognizable - Make the outcome concrete and desirable Step 2: Create a Clear UVP Help me define: “I help [who] who are experiencing [specific situation/problem] achieve [clear outcome] by [unique approach].” Make sure: - It feels specific, not broad - It reflects real situations (not abstract ideas) - It is easy to say in conversation Step 3: Define My USP (How I Work) Help me clearly explain: - What it looks like to work with me - The structure or cadence of engagement - What makes my approach different from others - What clients can expect in 60–90 days Output this in a way I can say naturally when someone asks:👉 “So how do you work with clients?” Step 4: Rewrite My Outreach / “Breadcrumb” Message Take my existing email or message and: - Make it tighter and easier to forward - Remove fluff and over-explanation - Make it sound like a confident peer—not a salesperson - Ensure it speaks directly to real scenarios my client experiences

I made changes to my top of profile Linkedin. More than that I created a talk track that feels so much more natural for me. de-emphasizing the sales impression I was making by talking about the how details too early. Also removing the ego of trying to be impressive - that was a hidden strain. Now I do not even mention Bloom Growth beyond name and steer the conversation continually to them. To make them see that I understand from inside their circle, what is happening. No fixes, just empathy and restating the problems then I proceed to walk them to what a future state could look like for them. I end with a diagnosis that is usually along the lines of it's not a strategy problem, or even a hiring problem, but a prioritization and execution problem. You asked for what results. I have had 2 clarity calls that will lead to a 90- minute Discovery/close meeting. and I have 6 or so of these clarity calls scheduled in which I feel much more prepared.
