I was doing really well with meeting my protein and fiber goals as well as daily exercise, then I got really tired and haven't been as diligent the past week. My Win is that I'm not beating myself up about and that I know I can do it because I've done it in the past! My Growth is that after watching this, I have a renewed motivation to get back on the routine that can help me feel better, one focus at a time, which will be walking every day to ease back in.

I've already requested the labs and have an appt in May to go over them so it will be a while before I get those answers. In the meantime, my best first move is Movement! I feel more regulated and sleep better and it makes me want to keep eating healthy.

I'm letting go of "shoulding" myself - "I should do this, I should do that..." Who says? It's a story I tell myself, its not a fact. I'm also really good at trying to do too many things at once when in reality, I function better when I focus on one, maybe two goals at a time. Holding ALL the things at once makes it all feel harder

I'm at a 5 😞 I'm getting 7 hours, usually waking before my alarm. Quit caffeine over a year ago, don't drink alcohol very often. I think I'm going to try no phone at night, as well as in the morning to make sure I get the early sunlight ☀️ I have a consult at the sleep clinic in a couple months so we'll see how that goes!

These aren't glamorous topics. But they are sneaky ones. Because when these are off, no habit, no meal plan, and no morning routine is going to carry you. You can't out-action a deficiency or a missed clue. Here's something I share with patients all the time: I once delayed my own bloodwork for six months because I thought I already knew why I was tired (hello, small kids, no sleep). Turns out my iron was the worst it had ever been. Correcting it didn't make me feel like a superhero but it made me functional again. And checking iron is less straightforward in bodies with inflammation from PCOS or other (details in the video). Today's homework: dig out any old lab work you have. I had bloodwork done early Nov, and plan to test again in May. I've made some lifestyle changes since then so I'm interested to see the trends (and hopefully some improvements!). But I am going to reach out and make sure some of these tests are included in that order like ferritin and inflammation.
