At the airport waiting to fly home from Ground School. Steve asked us at the end of each day what a takeaway was. We all answered with tactical things, which I believe is why I attended. What I wasn’t expecting was the 3+ hours spent at Dan Bennett s AirBnB talking with Steve, Pete, James, and all of us listening to stories, what it was like for them starting out, how some of the best deals were started around a table just like we were doing. Lots of laughs, lots of truths, getting to see that none of them had it all figured out in the beginning. When I got into my car at 10pm last night, I thought to myself “ I’m in the right place. I can’t wait for next time when we can do this again” Missing the events isn’t just about missing the information, because we can watch that on the recordings. There were no recordings last night (probably for deniability reasons), yet I feel I got just as much as I did during the event! Who is going to be there for the next one? I know I will!!
