Local Service User Consent Compliance (United States)
I have spent hours analyzing how local service businesses all over the country handle opt-out compliance. For the most part, it does not seem like the vast majority of cleaning companies/agencies that operate landing pages (for lead generation) are overly concerned with user consent (opt-out requests). I have asked countless agency owners how they handle user rights and for the most part, they scratch their heads and give me a funny look. Am I overthinking these laws or are they simply not enforced?

@Steven Jutton That’s a smart approach — setting this up before launch gives you a huge advantage most agencies never take. The real challenge is that compliance isn’t just legal boxes to tick; it has layers (data storage, tracking systems, lead flows) that can either slow you down or quietly strengthen your positioning. It’s good you’re thinking about this early — many don’t realize how much leverage it creates until they see it in action. Curious, how deep are you planning to go with your compliance framework?

LSA Ranking factors???
GoogleBP optimization and Google LSA setup are a couple services I specialize in in my agency. Are there any specific factors that help a clients LSA ad account show up at the top when searching? Other than the basic services, service area, reviews, ads budget? I have clients willing to spend $10K weekly, but they're only getting 5 or 6% impression share.

@Eric Haskin The key isn’t just budget or basic optimization — the biggest LSA levers most miss are lead conversion signals, NAP consistency, engagement metrics, and account health. Aligning these often gives a much bigger boost to impression share than ad spend alone. Curious , do you want me to share a simple audit framework that uncovers these hidden wins and can significantly improve your LSA performance?

@Eric Haskin Perfect, i’m glad you’re interested. What I’ll share first is a high-level framework that most agencies overlook, even with big budgets. It highlights the exact points where small adjustments can dramatically increase impression share and lead quality. Before I dive in, can you tell me a bit about your top-performing clients and the type of leads you want more of? That way I can tailor the insights so they’re immediately actionable for you.

Curious if anyone’s using AI for local map rankings?
Stumbled across this new AI tool called MapScan that gives you a full heatmap audit of your Google Maps rankings. It literally shows you where your business ranks across your entire city—visually. No dashboards, no digging through GMB. Just a clean map of where you're hot and where you’re invisible. Ran it for one of my local clients and was shocked by the red zones we didn’t even know existed. You get a free audit, no credit card or signup hoops. If you’re doing local SEO, this might be worth checking out. Curious if anyone else here has used it yet?

New LSA Location
Hi everyone, Does anyone have experience with opening multiple locations with different LSA accounts? I run a Houston-based business law firm. I recently moved to the Austin area. I will be keeping the Houston office open, but I will be opening a new office in Austin. I want to start running LSA for the Austin location when it opens, but I dont want to negatively affect the LSA, SEO or online presence for either location. Aside from the obvious things like setting up a new, complaint LSA account, new GBP, etc., what do we need to do to optimize the new location and keep from negativity affecting the old one? Add new contact info to the website home page (seems confusing)? Create a landing page for the location? Thanks!

Congratulations on your Austin expansion, Dustin. Managing multiple LSAs can be tricky if not structured properly. Treat each office as its own local entity with separate LSA/GBP profiles, unique landing pages, consistent NAP, location schema, and distinct tracking. Many businesses run into issues when locations are blended too closely, which can affect both SEO and visibility. Getting this right ensures Houston retains its strength while Austin gains traction efficiently. I’d be happy to share a proven approach that prevents common pitfalls and sets both locations up for success. DM me lets get straight into helping you!!
