Do I book one or all 4 back to back?
I'm working on my schedule for the rest of the year. I currently have an opening from August 5- October 11th. I had hesitated on booking Gulf cruises in August and September due to Hurricane season. However, the forecast is for a STRONG el Nino weather pattern. Which apparently lowers the chance of severe storms so I looked again to fill my schedule. MSC Seascape out of Galveston, TX for the month of August runs at these bargain prices. (screen shots attached) 7 day cruises with same route in a solo Inside guaranteed cabin, Bella Experience! Would you pay the extra $50/week to choose your cabin? So $112 for gratuities weekly. Embarkation date-------Price Aug 9 $333 Aug 16 $371 Aug 23 $362 Aug 30 $315 total: $1381 The benefits of going out of Galveston is I lived in Texas for over 2 decades. So I wouldn't have to pay for parking. I'd park at a friends and ride a bus/train to Houston then use a shuttle company from a Houston Airport to the terminal and back. About $50 round trip. I think prices may be even lower in September (Highest Hurricane risk) but didn't check yet. I wonder what the communities thoughts are on the option to book one or all. I already have the Grandiosa booked out of Orlando(Canaveral) in November. Never been on MSC so a bit leery about booking a month blind. But figure it will be fine. Does anyone have concerns, red flags or previous experience that I should consider?

Wow, would jump on that in an instant if I could! LOL! Cheaper than a months mortgage and food!
I've booked my trial MSC cruise!
I found an EXTREMELY low price on a solo cabin on the MSC Grandiosa out of Port Canaveral. Only $386.45 USD for a 7 night cruise. I am now booked on a 7 night trip November 7th through the 14th. Looking forward to a trial run on this cruise line!

We have been eyeing a cruise on MSC out of Galveston for this fall, its also dirt cheap. Put a deposit on it, but not sure as its just after we do a transatlantic and we dont know if we can get more time off, haha!

@Chip Jr. Yeah that's also a consideration as well. Wife does not want to pull the kids out of school too much either
Gigsky link
I’m sure I seen that you’ve got some sort of gigsky affiliate link, but I can’t seem to find it. I’m just wondering whether you can share it.

@Andrew Hurrell here is the article that mentions it - https://cruisefever.net/new-cruise-internet-service-allows-use-on-ship-and-land-as-cheap-as-8-67-day/#growUnverifiedReaderId=be5ca422-c266-4563-b2c5-0a13cbe146ba&growAuthSource=espLink&growSource=espLink

Question, how has it worked on an inside room, compared to an oceanview, to a balcony room if you were doing some work at the desk for example?
Any thoughts or reviews?
Hi, we are sailing on legend of the seas in October. We are in room 8212. I believe it’s roughly the same layout as icon. Does anyone have any reviews on this room from being in icon or star? It’s behind the pearl and at the end of the corridor. At the top of stairs that lead to Central Park which we are hoping is not too noisy. Thanks x

@Edgar Brincat Yes, its the character of the small ships, the ease of moving around. Allowing the kids to wander around freely! Its relaxing, and does not have the busy feel!

@Edgar Brincat That is a wicked website. I always pull up the ships decks on here and on the cruise lines website, when showing potential clients.
What is the longest cruise you have ever done?
Mines was 35 nights and I remember before we did it, people kept saying I would get bored after a week or two which couldn’t have been further from the truth. If anything, the longer ones are the ones that feel the most relaxed because you’re not constantly trying to fit everything in. I still get asked how much this cruise cost… would it be worth sharing? (Sailed from Barcelona to Singapore) I think people massively underestimate how different a 7 night cruise feels compared to something longer. Would be interesting to hear what everyone else has done because I know there is a mix in here.😊

@Edgar Brincat I am a flight attendant, hard to do remote work, since I am always remote (the travel agent part of me could do that though once retired, haha).

@Edgar Brincat I just stay in north american, Canada/US! Try to stay close to my same time zone as I also have to fly to work (to my base).
