If you have built up loyalty status with a cruise line… has it ever made you hesitate booking somewhere else? With perks like: Free drinks WiFi discounts Priority boarding. But what if another line has the exact itinerary you want, Would you still switch? Or do the perks keep you loyal? Prior to my last cruise I watched multiple YouTube videos on hacks etc. I came across an app called GigSky which apparently provides an alternative to ship offered WiFi. The price was reasonable. I wasn't able to purchase it due to my phone not having Esim capability. When I upgrade my phone I'll get one with Esim. Has anyone heard of this, or used it on board or in port?

If you are not familiar, wave season runs January to March. It is when cruise lines release their biggest deals of the year to fill ships. We are halfway through it right now. Have you booked anything during wave season this year? Or do you book at a different time of year?🛳️

We have done 36+ cruises now and our embarkation day routine has completely changed! We used to get the earliest boarding slot, do our muster drill, go and explore the ship, grab some cocktails and find a good spot for sail away. Now, we actually head onboard pretty late! So I am curious, how does YOUR embarkation day actually go? Do you try to board as early as possible or do you hang back and arrive later? What is the first thing you do once you’re on board? Do you explore the ship straight away or head for food first? After the safety drill, pool deck, bar, cabin, or something else? Do you have any embarkation day traditions or rituals?
