@Katrina Edginton yes, I can see how it can be overwhelming for 1st time cruisers. They should really use a travel agent. After lots of cruises I just watch YouTubes on the ship I'm considering and then look closely at the deck maps to make sure my cabin is in a quiet spot. Stuff 1st timers would never think of like are you under the pool deck or a disco?

I rarely drink alcohol. I get a discount on a few drinks with my loyalty. So if I want one I pay as I go. I'm not paying $10 or more per day for soda. The complimentary drinks plus the 12 sodas I can carry on are sufficient for me. I also sometimes buy a bottled soda in port, if I feel the urge.

@Katrina Edginton they fall for the marketing. Especially the "fun ship" ads. I would like to know if anyone feels it was a good investment? If they do, how much of the cruise do they actually remember?

@Katrina Edginton the cruise I took on Enchantment in November was put together by Dr. Lisa Weideman, who goes by @CarnivoreDoctor on IG and YT. She lives in Jersey and like me loves to be in the sun. There was a Health Conference in Tampa the week before so she scheduled a cruise. Hoping many of the people that attended the conference would join the cruise. Another MD and two YT influencers all in the Carnivore Niche also helped promote it and formed a Q&A panel on the Sea Days. I saw it on Dr. Lisa's YT channel, my community on here is Carnivore without the Crazy and I was able to go. Though I didn't attend the conference I was able to get to Tampa by Embarkation day. It ended up being about 88 people and she has already agreed to do another one next year after the conference. I will probably join again but won't book till closer to November. This is the only group one I have done in decades. Three years ago a friend and I did Allure out of Ft. Lauderdale just to take a cruise. It's been years maybe decades since I have cruised.
