YOU CAN’T AFFORD NOT TO READ THIS ENTIRE MESSAGE! Happy New Year! I want to start by saying this clearly: This year will be the best year in business you’ve ever had. I declare that. Now let me be honest with you. After speaking with so many of you, before we start aggressively searching for grants, we need to focus on something far more important—building your business systems and infrastructure so you become the kind of company that attracts grants effortlessly. This year, our priority is structure before submission. We are no longer putting time, energy, and hope into grant applications that are likely to be declined because the foundation isn’t solid yet. And yes—I’m practicing what I preach. I’ve restructured our company as well. I’m putting the systems in place so that we can win more grants, consistently and strategically. WHAT’S NEW THIS YEAR Here’s what you can expect inside the community: 1. Structured course tracks so you know exactly what classes to take based on where you are right now 2. Grant Reviews (replacing Grant Sprint): bring the grant you’re actively working on and we’ll walk you through how to complete it correctly 3. Hot Seats / Office Hours where you can speak directly with our in-house business experts and get clear direction on what to do next 4. Monthly grants through our LegUp Grant Applications close on the 31st Awards announced on the 15th 5. Monthly rewards for community engagement Post or reply at least 1–2 times per week to qualify 6. I will be looking for moderators for this group CLASS TRACKS & CATEGORIES (Full schedule will be posted Monday, January 5th inside Skool) 👉 skool.com/businessgrants WELCOME & ORIENTATION Welcome to the Million Dollar Grant Club. Basic Requirements for Most Grant Applications
While every grant is different, many applications ask for similar things—such as a clear project idea, basic documentation, and proof of eligibility. Understanding these common requirements helps applicants prepare early and avoid last-minute stress. Which requirement do you find most challenging when applying for grants?

Hi Jasper, yes. I find that project alignment along with determining a zerod out budget are the most difficult requirements. This is simply because most times the requested needs in their simplest terms are so difficult to locate funding for IE Operational or intern/staff. The amount of hoops and the need to develop that personal relationship with the grantor at times is daunting.
