This thought popped into my mind first thing this morning: I sincerely believe the world we live in should be about 'being there' for one another. Support and connect. Do you run a community? Here's an invitation for today: why not post about it; post your quality introduction below? It's free 😊 . And have a look at others' - you might just discover a post that's not to be ignored! Just for today, please.

Food for the Soul. Interested? Share Food LoveĀ is like walking into your gramnma's kitchen and smelling the goodness and love coming out of it. Grab a warm cup of coffee, pull up a chair at the island for some shenanigans, chat with friends, cool merch, and chef snacks. (A few recipes and video's a month.) Don't miss out on ALL the goodies in the cookie jar when you come in at theĀ premium tier.Ā (All the videos, lots of downloadable recipes, meal planning and much more. Plus, collab's with specialty groups and chefs.) Hope to see you inside soon.
SEX SELLS!
I'm thinking of building a module on 'How to Write an Erotic Foodie Novel'. The connection between food, eating, and erotica is largely rooted in the senses, the body, and pleasure. Both food and erotic experience are deeply sensory. Taste, smell, texture, and touch all play a role, and both invite a heightened awareness of the body. The act of eating — slowing down, noticing flavour, anticipating the next bite — mirrors the rhythm of desire and satisfaction. There’s also a shared language. Here are 10 words that can work in both food and sensual/erotic contexts — suggestive, but not explicit āœØšŸ‘‡ • Indulgent• Rich• Velvety• Decadent• Melt• Tender• Juicy• Creamy• Luscious• Satisfying šŸ‘‰ These work well because they evoke texture, pleasure, and sensation — key to both food writing and sensual language šŸ½ļøāœļø Culturally, food has long been associated with comfort, indulgence, and desire, making it a natural metaphor for emotional and physical connection. In writing, this link will allow you to create depth — not by being explicit, but by using suggestion, atmosphere, and sensory detail. Let me know what you think?

Have you seen the sexy men cooking with their shirts off on social media? There's even a garden guy who mocks them in his videos. He cracks me up. But yes, very double meaning. I used those words a lot when I had my food blog years ago.
šŸ’¬ A Sincere Question for You āœļøšŸ½ļø
I’d really love to hear from you. Have you had a chance to look at the modules inside the Classroom yet? If you have:šŸ‘‰ Which ones have you explored?šŸ‘‰ And what did you take from them — even something small? If you haven’t yet, that’s completely fine too — feel free to say so. Your responses genuinely help me understand what’s working, what’s useful, and what to create next for you. (Having said that, I'm currently workig on two more modules: 'how to write a moreish recipe' and 'a cookbook filled with heart'. I’d really appreciate your thoughts šŸ‘‡

I've not had time yet, but it's on my list. I will let you know what I think when I have a hot second to dive in. 🫶
WELCOME NEW MEMBERS!
@Shawn Helgerson and @Julianne Anderson I'm so happy to have you on board! I suggest, to get the most out of this community: 1ļøāƒ£ Go to my Classroom 2ļøāƒ£ Normally folks start with: Finding Your Voice (your writing voice, that is), and Using your Senses (essential when you write). Both free. (But I surmise you're already far beyond that). (3ļøāƒ£ Have a look at the other modules Please let me know what you'd like to learn to (food) write about. I'd sincerely like to know!

I'm just trying to "SHARE FOOD LOVE". Pull up a chair to the kitchen island. Sample the cookies, feel the warmth, join in, have a coffee. Enjoy.
