🎸 Meet the Band: Introductions for Our Internet Strangers
Let’s get to know each other a little! If you’re new here, take a minute to drop an intro in the comments. Nothing fancy -- just share: - Who you are / where you’re from - What brought you here - Something fun or unexpected about you (hobby, favorite food, weird talent, etc.) I’ll go first so you don’t have to be the guinea pig. Can’t wait to meet you all!

@MJ Berst Appreciate that! I’ve spent about half my career overseas, so it feels good being back stateside. I don’t really keep up with sports, but I’ll always root for anything Chicago. Arizona’s been a nice change of pace though. Great weather, good food. It’s usually steak or beer brats for me. I work on my CTS Coupe or whatever I’m driving at the time. My biggest money and mindset shift has been focusing less on chasing income and more on building systems that grow wealth consistently. Once I learned how to make money work for me, everything started to change.

Today we’re cracking open the door to investing, but without the Wall Street jargon or TikTok hype. You don’t need a finance degree or six figures in the bank to get started. You just need a system, a strategy, and a starting point. P.S. I’ll also show you how to use STASH + my free course to start investing today. Shout out to @Keith Marvicsin who already started his account! What’s one thing that’s always confused or intimidated you about investing? Drop it below 👇

- @MJ Berst You are so right The U.S. Dollar Index (DXY) has declined by about 10-11 % in 2025 so far. - Chase Savings℠: Offers a 0.01% APY.  - Chase Premier Savings℠: Offers a rate of 0.02% APY. - That's no money! - Investing returns 8 - 10% a year! - HYSA are giving 3 - 4.50% a year no lock up

Plastic Promises 💳
Today we’re talking credit card rewards -- the shiny perks that make debt look sexy. Are points and cashback a smart play? Sometimes. But here’s the real question: Are you using the card… or is the card using you? We’ll break down when rewards make sense, when they backfire, and why your emergency fund is still the real MVP. Go deeper. Spend smarter. Trust less. 👀 👇 What’s the weirdest thing you’ve ever justified buying “for the points”?

And those credit card companies don't care about you or your financial situation. They will close those cards in a heartbeat, and you will be SOL for 7 years!

Your job today? Face the numbers...
Day 15 is here and we’re digging into the origin story of credit cards -- who they were designed for, how access has evolved, and why credit card debt feels so overwhelming (spoiler: it’s designed that way). Today isn’t about shame, it’s about awareness. We start the plan tomorrow 💳

My Debt Journey (Example Flow) Step 1: Listed everything out → I faced the numbers, even the scary ones. Step 2: Picked a strategy → I used Avalanche because my APRs were brutal, but I mixed in Snowball at first for quick wins. Step 3: Found extra cash flow → I pulled from side hustles, rentals, and extra personal income. Step 4: Built accountability → I tracked progress monthly and shared milestones. Step 5: Protected momentum → I automated payments, kept my “why” in front of me, and avoided adding new debt.
