Are Views The Ultimate Goal of Social Media?
I’ve been blessed to say that multiple videos of mine have reached over 1 million views. But at the end of the day, I feel like chasing views is a bit superficial. So what should we really be aiming for? Maybe it’s about creating a sense of community or building a following. Maybe you’re simply making content to promote your business. Or maybe you just want to share a project you’re working on. What do you think the true goal of social media is? What do you hope to achieve and why?
What Do You Enjoy Most About Being A Creator?
In the beginning, it can feel overwhelming having to juggle everything yourself: Script , Film, Edit and post But for me, what makes it all worth it is being able to share my thoughts with others. It’s something I believe we often take for granted. So I’d love to hear from you: - Why did you decide to start creating content? - What keeps you going, even when it gets tough? As Nietzsche once said: “He who has a why to live can bear almost any how.”
What Strategies Do You Use To Monetise Your Audience?
I’ve been building my YouTube channel for about 8–12 months now. Right now, I mainly sell a service-based offer (helping clients with tech + social media). But I know there are so many other ways to monetise, and I’d love to hear what’s worked for you. Here are a few I’ve seen: - AdSense – earning directly from the platform. - Affiliate Links – promoting products you like and earning a commission. - Digital Products – e.g. PDFs, templates, or one-off resources. - Service-Based Offers – selling your skills (what I’m currently doing). - Communities (like Skool) – building a paid group around your expertise. 👉 Have you tried any of these? Which ones have actually worked for you? 👉 Or is there another method you’ve found even more effective? What Strategies Do You Use To Monetise Your Audience?
What's more Important for Content: Quality or Quantity
When I first started posting, I thought quality was everything. I’d overthink captions, re-record takes, and sit on drafts for weeks. But the truth? None of that mattered until I got the reps in. I made 10 different accounts before I hit 1 million views. I failed more times than I can count. Some posts got 5 views. Some flopped completely. But posting a lot is what taught me what actually works. Every “bad” post was a rep in the gym and over time, quality naturally showed up. Here’s what I learned along the way: - Quantity teaches you faster than quality does. - Quality is what gets you remembered but it comes later. - The platform matters: short form rewards consistency, long form rewards polish DISCLAIMER: This will not work for everyone but simply what worked for me 10 million short-form views didn’t come from one perfect video. It came from 1,000 imperfect ones. What do you think matters most quality or quantity when creating content curious to hear what you say?

How to Never Run Out of Content Ideas
If you create content, you probably script before you shoot. For some, ideas flow naturally. For others, it feels like hitting a creative wall. But here’s the truth: you don’t need to be “born creative” to win over your audience. Most people rely on these 3 methods (I’ll break them down, then share my personal recommendation): Method 1: Using A.I. Pretty straightforward let AI generate ideas or scripts. Pros: Fast, cheap, reliable Cons: Low quality, training wheels, rarely original Method 2: Copy + Twist Search what’s trending, ask ChatGPT “what’s my audience searching on YouTube?”, then add your unique spin instead of copying. Pros: Proven, reliable, solves real gaps Cons: Takes time to research, can feel repetitive Method 3: VidIQ Ideas Use VidIQ (not sponsored) to find underserved topics your audience still wants. Great for carving out your niche. Pros: Data-driven, “blue ocean” opportunities Cons: Time consuming, not beginner-friendly My Method (August 2025) Audiences don’t just want information anymore they want you. If you are your ICP, you already know the struggles. Share how you solved them. Forget reading from a script — instead, tell a story that teaches a lesson and solves their problem. People don’t open YouTube just to learn “how to do X” anymore. They want connection. They want people. And that’s your edge.
