Monday Plans - Vibe Voices
What's the plan for this week? One big goal for Friday? I've got my eye on an ElevenLabs alternative, whether it's Microsoft's new VibeVoice model or Kokoro (thanks for the suggestion @Danilo Alves!), a self-hosted voice system will be in the works. I'll have a video posted by the end of the week. And maybe some bonus nano-banana since that seems to be a popular one. Let me know what else you'd like to see or need help with. Happy Monday and good luck this week!

You're welcome, Jay! I'm using it, and it works very well. It also allows you to use different voices.
Nano-Banana is Live - Tutorial Soon
Google's new Gemini-2.5-Flash-Image-Preview model, codenamed "nano banana" before launch dropped yesterday on aistudio.google.com. It was being called the "Photoshop killer" since it can very accurately follow your natural language instructions to edit images. Plus it's not bad at generating images either. Planning to have a workflow to demonstrate the power of editing here. I'll have the video up soon. Have you tried using the model yet?

Yes! I’ve tried it on Google’s AI Studio, and I even built a workflow on n8n to generate images. The best part? The API remains free to use for now The quality of the images is just amazing!
Accountability ✅
One of the best ways to stay consistent is having others to keep you accountable. It's something this community does for me already but I still have room for improvement. If you want to join me, I'd like to try out Accountability Posts. Super simple: 1. State your goal (daily, weekly, or monthly — up to you). 2. Post updates regularly (what you did, what you learned, or even what you struggled with). 3. Encourage others — a quick 👍 or comment goes a long way. I’ll be posting my own updates here too. I have a running goal of at least one YouTube upload per week so that's still pending. If you're interested in joining, drop your first goal below ⬇️

Great idea, Jay! I’m in! My goal is to create at least one n8n workflow every day. I try to challenge myself by learning something new or improving a skill — like using JavaScript in code nodes or optimizing my prompts to reduce token usage. Looking forward to sharing updates and seeing everyone’s progress!

@Jay Peters Hey Jay, as I mentioned earlier today, I'm developing a Heygen avatar that will interact live as a customer and be available for my client's employees to train their selling skills. I'll create a post later today, I will try to share how I develop prompts to the agents that I create
Intro
Hey everyone, my name is Vlad. Just started diving into n8n and AI automation literally a couple days ago. My background is mostly in video editing and social media. I grew two pages organically to 27k+ and 50k+ followers, totally 50M+ views. One was a motivational IG brand, the other was a TikTok page with AI-enhanced photos. That taught me a lot about content, growth, outreach, AI, and leveraging attention. Right now, I am focused on learning the technical side of n8n and building AI automation solutions for businesses to solve their problems and/or save them time. I do a bit of coding too, nothing crazy, but applying some things as I go. I joined this community to connect with other driven, curious people who are also interested in n8n and AI automation, especially anyone open to bounce ideas, share progress, or just keeping each other accountable.

Hey Vlad, just saw your post! You can count on me for sharing ideas and progress! I'm also very curious and eager to learn
Video: n8n Webhook Example for Monday.com
Webhooks are tricky. They can be really useful for automatic responses to changes in a system, like updating the status on an item in Monday.com. In this video I walk through setting up both the Test URL and Production URLs for a Webhook, and this also includes the path to handle the "challenge" data that Monday.com uses to verify the Webhook connection with n8n is valid. It's a small workflow example, but I've included that if it's a helpful reference. Normally I would recommend using a Scheduling node instead because those doesn't have the chance of running too much, but a Webhook has the advantage of working for the specific trigger and not having to loop through extra items. Let me know if you have questions about n8n Webhooks. Happy to dive deeper into the topic if there's interest!

Hey Jay! I would say that webhooks are the backbone of real-time automation in n8n. They keep things fast, efficient, and super flexible. I use them a lot in my automations!

@Jay Peters Instead of using forms from Typeform, Google Forms, or Jotform, I’ve been creating mine with Bolt.new or Lovable. Then I just hook them up to N8N using webhooks.
