Is it Fear or Logistics?
I was reviewing a call yesterday with one of my reps that fell into a super common trap. Often times during objections we can make the assumption that our prospects are simply scared of going for it when in reality they need to move money between accounts and figure out HOW they will fund the deal. So here are the pro-moves before you start using fancy fear re-frames with your prospects and leave them confused. 1. Diffuse - not a problem 2. Isolate - money aside is there anything else that would keep you less than 100% all in? 3. Double Confirm - So in other words this isn't a should I do it sort of thing where you are on the fence...it's literally a how / when meaning we just need to figure out HOW to find the funding so you can DREAM OUTCOME 4. Best Case Worst Case - That being said would you be open to an honest conversation around the finances.....best case we find a way to help you get going today. worst case we build out a roadmap and game plan to help you get started down the road? 5. Dive into DATA IF YES - Credit Score, Cash On Hand, Cash Flow 6. Make and Educated Suggestion Video breaking it down is linked below 👇 Solve logistics first then you can handle the fear

This is a good distinction. Before reaching for a reframe, I would ask one plain question like "If the money were already in the right account today, would you move forward?" Their answer shows right away whether it is fear or funding, and if it is funding you can help them plan the transfer or a payment split instead of pushing harder.

Two and a half years ago I sold my house to fund my company. Best and scariest decision I've made. I'm Daniel, German, working fully remote from Paphos, Cyprus. Since 2007 I've organized capital for projects (over $215 million for Miro Forestry in Ghana) and spent 13+ years in performance marketing. In 2024 I started plaith.ai, an all-in-one marketing solution run by an AI that coordinates 43 language models. Curious about this group: what's the hardest part of selling remotely for you, getting the meeting or closing it? Admins: we have 14 sales partners worldwide and are open to more. Would a short partner call be okay here at some point? Either answer is fine.
