Hi Gents, I'm off to a boat party along the River Thames tonight with my teacher colleagues to celebrate our school being judged Outstanding in all areas in a recent inspection. I've never been to a boat party before. The dress code was "a touch of sparkle, but wear whatever you feel comfortable in". I figured people would be dressing up so I wanted to make an effort. When I was younger, healthier, more active/fit, I loved dressing up. I loved the statements and attention I could get just from wearing something nice. But, as I got older, started working full-time, I cared less and less about dressing my best. Now, I'm trying to do it for myself because it feels good to me, although I still don't do it very often. So, I'm wondering, what motivates you guys? I'd love some inspo if you have it!
